Phoenix is the best bet at this point... Phoenix would be serious contender if they get Payton from FA and Diaw from the Johnson deal. They would have a bench this season compared to last... Maybe the three point shooting wouldn't be as hot as it was, but the starters wouldn't be playing 47 minutes a night. So they would be fresher come play-off time... And Amare will be a beast next season... I'm talkin 35ppg beast...

Spree to Detroit... Isn't he such a bad boy who is very attractive to Isiah Thomas... Rasheed delivered the first title to Detroit and Isaiah is trying to bring in more "bad boys" to play with that "us against the world" attitude...

I'm not sure how happy Joe Dumars would be with Isiah's attempt to run Detroit from the Knicks GM position

Oh yeah... Sorry about the mix up... Bad boys for life are they both, so does it really matter???

Dumars has gathered the bad boys from around the league and Spree fits that description very well...

Sorry about my blooper...

Rick Bucher says Detroit is more likely, but I can't help but recognize his bias. He doesn't like Shaq very much and well, he wrote a book about Yao that sold a shitload in China. Um..Finley would NOT start in Detroit at all. What is he saying about Finley not having to fight over for minutes as much? Over Hamilton and Prince? Hamilton and Prince are great players and essential to the Pistons. In Miami he could start at SF instead of Posey or Walker. I would even say Finley might be even better than Walker. Whereas Finley is 100% benched. Hamilton and Prince NEED to start. If they were to start Finley over any of these two, it would be retarded.

They both played for Phoenix at some point in their careers, but I'm not too sure if they ever played alongside each other.

So what has that got to do with them being buddies :eh: , I know they both played for Phoenix thats obvious. :lame:

In Miami he could start but he still has 2 guys that play SF on the bench, two very good guys. It would probably be in Miami's best interest to start Posey....a defensive minded SF capable of scoring and hitting 3's rather than Walker or Finley.

In Detroit, he'd come off the bench but he'd get time. He'd primarily play backup to Prince, but also play the 2 when Hamilton is on the bench. The 3 would rotate. I think Prince & Hamilton played about 37mpg....that would give Finley 22 minutes of game time at least. Add to the fact that Saunders won't milk his players like Brown, and Prince will play some PG and you have 30mpg. You can safely say he'd get 25mpg.

you have to also factor in lindsey hunter for his defense and he also allows chauncey to shift to SG. it's possible that billups will be seeing more time at SG/ havemore freedom within the Piston offense

plus there's delfino, who's probably still pissed for being left of the p-off roster.

Delfino showed up to summer leagues horribly out of shape and played like he'd never touched a basketball. According to the reports I read, he spent most of his time whinging to anyone who'd listen about how much he hates playing for Detroit. That being said, with Brown gone maybe he'll change his tune.

My first two team I believe he will go to are the Suns & Heat simply because I think he can start and will get the most minute from either of the two. Most players want the money and the playing-time to go with it. My two Presidents

don't break your shoulder trying to pat yourself on the back now

it wouldnt be that difficult to be in better shape then curry, who had been inactive for several months due to his heart condition. he's hasn't even been cleared to particiapate in pick up games or full contract drills yet

lol true but it really isn't hard to keep down your weight even though you can't excercise... all you have to do is refrain yourself from chuggin down foods like mcdonalds or kfc and walk for about a mile a day...

so basically if you attend gym class everyday in school, you're in better shape. pft big deal

walking a mile a day only burns so many calories. that's basically jogging for 5 mintues.

that's nowhere near enough calories burned daily to sustain weight loss or maintain current weight

and curry probably has a slower metabilism that all you tooth picks that post here & nevermind the drastic change of being in nba shape to being only allowed to walk for exercise

curry didn't blow up anyway like kemp and would school any one of us if he were cleared to play today

ideally Hunter wont play much till the playoffs. That was the plan last season but Brown abandoned that after Day 1.

So i read on RealGM that it's between Detroit or Miami and the loser could get Spree. Either way, i think it's safe to pencil in an East team as NBA champ!

I really think the Heat will win the race to Finley.Because they have enough room in cap salary. 8-)

Heat fans are the new Lakers fans.

They just want everyone.

And doesn't this remind anyone of 2 years ago when the Lakers added two All-Stars in Malone and GP and everyone thought they were going to be guranteed a title too?
