4) Try and get Walker, who would go into the 3

No, thank you. That's an awful idea for the reasons Habbakuk said.

And about the Lakers... Kobe is not playing PG. If Butler was still around, he'd have more chance of starting 1 than Bryant.

but butler isnt gonna be around anymore

Wafer will be Bryants primary backup before the year ends, Smush Parker will probably be invited to the Lakers training camp and - because he has all qualities Jackson seeks from his PGs - will probably be signed and used as their backup PG (he is light years ahead of Tierre Brown). One SF HAS to go.

1) Lakers will sign a PG this offseason and with Antonio Daniels out of the running, I see LA turning to Tyronn Lue who has played under Jackson before. The two parties are reportedly talking. Lue will start ahead of Vujacic who I see eventually taking away that spot later in the season.

2) Due to Turiaf's recent news, I'm not too sure what LA will do about Grant. If Ronny was alright, they would cut Grant from the team but I'm not sure what they will do here. I believe that they will cut Grant and re-sign Vlade Divac. Divac's 'suposedly' retired but claims that the Lakers will reaccess him at a later date which means a return may be possible.

3) Von Wafer should be signed by LA but used this season. Had a decent showing at Summer LEague with 22 and 29 points against Memphis.

Pretty much same as what you wrote, except for Payton being the PG. :D

No, he didn't and yes, it's a strong possibility that Payton comes back to the Lakers.

Yea thats wat I heard too. I think it was on Sportscenter. They said there is only a 50% chance that he will be healthy to play next year, so he is retering.

If possible I would like for Memphis to make these deals:

Battier and Wright for Magloire

Williams, Miller and Tsakalidis for Pierce

Resign Earl Watson

I know the Hornets love Battier and that deal could really possibly happen, I'm just having doubts about the 2nd one though.

PG- Jackson/Watson/Burks
SG- Pierce/Jones/Emmett
SF- Posey/Snyder
PF- Gasol/Warrick
C- Magloire/Roberts

actually that might just be what happens. no big mystery that jackson likes big guards so he might just run the point through odom and play those 2 at the guard slots.

hopefully, i'm really eager to see odom handling the point.. i think he'll be pretty good. i'm also hoping his defense improves (not that he sucked) but i would love to see him play the passing lanes more (ala scottie pippen)

New Orleans:

I agree with SbHzMaFiA©, Magliore for Battier/Wright could happen...

I'd also like to see NO make a run at Vladamir Radmanovik or Rodney White (Hell, he was drafted 5th overall, theres gotta be something there other teams havent got out of him.)

C: L Wright/C Anderson
PF: PJ Brown/J Vroman/D West
SF: S Battier/R White or Radmanovic
SG: JR Smith/B Nachbar
PG: C Paul/S Claxton

I don't think NO will spend their cap space this year, hopefully Paul/JR Smith will go well and increase interest in the team for next years FA's

I would like to see the pistons trade Rip Hamilton for Ron Artest - Dont ask why i just really like artest and to put him with Ben Wallace would turn an already great defensive team into one of the all time best...Also trade Chauncey Billups for say Paul Pierce, give the starting point to Arroyo and bring Tayshaun off the bench as a 6th man. Hopefully they will also give some time (now that Brown is gone) too Milicic, Delfino and Maxiell.

PF R.Wallace/J.Maxiell/A.McDyess
SF P.Pierce/T.Prince/R.Dupree

I think he means running a "point forward" system with Odom being the primary ball handler and running 2 "shoot first" guards in the starting lineup.

That's an interesting team you have there, and it might not ruin the Pistons defensive philosphy. But do you really think Pierce and Prince can split there minutes evenly, they are both really good players.

Pierce is used to big minutes in Boston and Prince is used to his fair share of minutes in Detroit.

But who am I to complain, this is what we would like to see, and you're the first person to really do anything interesting with their team. :)

One more thing, do you really want Jason Maxiell playing ahead of Antonio McDyess? I'm just curious.

I'm surprised you put Jamaal Tinsley on the bench, I was thinking people would want him to prove himself first before he starts over Tinsley, who has been doing pretty well running this team.
