I really like Dan, and would love him in Boston, but as a starter? ...no, not yet. Sign him for 2yr+plyr option and we'll talk. If he gets settled in a system, he can turn out nicely.
I really hope Boston goes for Dickau, cuz I really really want to get Sarunas Jesikevicius and Boston has an offer on the table for him.

when I saw you had posted in this thread, I thought you'd say: "James Jones is the biggest sleeper for next year... His big 20/10/5 explosion is coming up, just you wait and see... "
You failed me...

Pau Gasol, with a full training camp with Fratello, he going to be playing close to 40mpg since he will be the so-called "star player" and that should improve his averages.
Wed Jul 06, 2005 7:21 am
Gasol is a weak ass! Damien Wilkens will break out, you all will see!

haha sorry my mistake...
i'll go with eddie griffin & pietrus then
i can't see how gerald wallace can have a breakout year. not until he develops a consistent jumper and handles
desmond mason.. pretty much what you saw last year is what you get
tyronne lue? nope
chris bosh already had his breakout year once carter got traded. he was a near 20/10 player once the team became his
kaman's not a bad choice

I have hopes of Wallace making the transition into more than a one-trick pony next season, even though he'll never get good handles. But a jumper? Sure, there were signs of it last year.
Wed Jul 06, 2005 12:20 pm
the whole knicks team, they will surprise
Wed Jul 06, 2005 12:24 pm
i think that parker may have a breakout season... or at least a much better one then he has in his career.

I can't see how Griffin and Pietrus can have a breakout season, they both don't even starts. For Griffin, he is too inconsistent, sometimes he can get 15pts, 8rbs, 3blks and sometimes he get only 2pts, 3rbs, and 1blks. With KG, Cassell, Wally, Sprewell. Griffin won't produce big numbers.
For Pietrus, with the addition of Baron Davis from last season and the current rosters with Richardson, Murphy, Dunleavy and Fisher. Pietrus won't even get enough minutes to play so his stats will be even lower than last season.

air gordon was predicting that griffin will not be as inconsistant this year though i guess. usualy that is what a break out year is. also, i dunno but i cant see spree being a big part of that team anymore. they should slot eddie griffin in the lineup instead of spree and have one of the tallest lineup going round with wally at the two.

Actually, Pietrus played his best last year after BD came to Oakland...

something like that carmo hehe... the kid's always had the talent and i think minny will give the guy a chance to develop. pretty unique talent: a shotblocker who can drains 3's
as far as pietrus... listen to dweaver hehe.. ever since i heard word of pietrus being an excellent defender/athlete, i couldn't help but follow this guy and see if he's the real deal.
he's coming along pretty well- his halfcourt game is improving. i hope he starts over dun jr. but who knows since dun jr. is in a contract year. definitely the best perimeter defender on the team, something the starting lineup is lacking
