I actually think the Raptors other 2 picks (Joey Graham and Roko Leni-Ukic) will be better pros than Charlie Villanueva

the pick was crazy....even Channing Frye would have been a better pick

Why? Not a fan of being treated like a king in foreign conutries? Over the last 3 years I have gotten with 4 ladies on vacation because "OMG, you're Canadian. That is so awesome." What does Slovenian get you?

BTW, Canadian does not equal Raptor's fan. Just a hint for next time. ;)

But on-topic, yes the Raptors were shafted by Babcock.

The similarities are striking. Both like to fuck people. Although the guy on the left chooses the people that aren't young, and the other guy...you know.

Idiots.

Villanueva is an awesome player, he's got skills, I don't know what fuck you a-holes are rambling about but Villanueva is fresh out the box and ready for some ball, he was in the HS Dunk Contest.

I agree he's talented, but the raptors don't need him, a PF. He need a PG/C more importantly. I don't think people are pissed off at the Babcock because it was Viianueva, but it was because the raps drafted a player who plays the PF position.

Graham and Roko were good picks, but imagine right now the Raps could jave Green/Granger, Graham, and Roko, wow.

What's the significance of this? The Raptors franchise player is Chris Bosh. The Raptors needed players in every position but PF, so they draft a 6'9 perimeter PF/SF, figure it out yourself as to why it's a bad pick

What did he say, he's athletic, he can play alongside Bosh at the 4 or 5, and some garbage like he's versatile. Shut up Babcock, even Chuck in the interview called him a rotation player, or maybe more. He didn't even call him a starter

He was saying he can play the 3,4 or the 5. Lmao he can't play centre he's too small/weak, he can't play SF he's too slow/can't dribble well enough.

He has one spot PF, which is occupied by Bosh. I thought they would have got Green for sure, seeing as they don't really have a SG (Rose is probably leaving, and Mo-P ain't great)

i don't know about drafting Green, as no one has really seen him play. Even the videos, he was playing against other HS players. He's really skinny too. LeBron was huge compared to other HS players when he got drafted. Anyways, how good of a shooter is Graham? I think the raps need a shooter, other than a C.

Charlie V wasnt worth the 6th pick. And Babcock makes it worse by passing on Green twice. I think I know why Raptors fans are so angry right now.

Well, guess what... They didn't solve any of their problems.

Villaneuva is not an awesome player and he does not have skills. He has no work ethic and is a terrible defender. Can't play the three because he lacks quickness and can't play the 5 because of his strength.

Fresh out of the box for some ball? What the hell is that supposed to mean? He's NBA ready? Probably. Worth the seventh pick when we could have drafted a quality swingman? Hardly.

He was in the HS contest? Well whoopty doo!! That definitely solves all of our problems! Let's just start taking away minutes from Bosh and let Villaneuva play because he was in the highschool dunk contest!!

Idiot.

Actually Vilaneuva has skills, he just doesn't want to use them, which is even more frustrating.

Ye i know he was not worthy. Babs is jus lucky Roko Ukic slipped to the 2nd round, that got me excited. Also Joey Graham was not a surprise to me. Villanueva ... i'll wait and see how he fits in with the team.

But with this draft, Toronto still has no 2 guard. Roko Ukic can't both rotate for the 1 and 2.

Look at our backup guards so far ...

Alvin Williams
Omar Cook
Milt Palacio
Roki Ukic

Impressive ay ...

According to NBA.com-http://www.nba.com/draft2005/profiles/CharlieVillanueva.html Villanueva is 6-11, which means he could create matchup problems at SF, and hes only 1 inch short of being a center.....He just needs to bulk up and add quickness

Can't do both... Bulking up reduces quickness and vice-versa... He should definitely get a position if he's serious about making a sterter's career in the NBA.

Hey, Tony Kukoc is 6 ' 11" and he can barely play PF...

Villanueva, Charlie 6' 9" 6' 9½" 236.6 7' 0¼" 9' 1"

He is 6'9" w/o shoes
He is 6'9" with shoes
He weighs 236.6 lbs
His wingspan is 7'0 ¼"
His reach is 9'1"

They passed out on Green twice thats just nasty and why is Green drafted late 1st round??? He was predicted top 15 in many Mock Drafts.. Anyway Graham averages more points than Villueneva, Babcock only drafted him so he wasnt the only ugly person in the Raptors Organization.

Artest is 6'7. CV is not really capable of playing SF, especially defensively, and we have Graham, MoPete, and Jalen at SF. If we got CV with plans of playing him at SF, why would we draft Graham a SF, nor a SG/SF, but a SF?

Graham can play SG, he had the best total combine scores in the 2005 draft camps

Athleticism doesn't give you skill to play SG.
