D-Wolverine's quotey thingy wrote:The Warriors have thought long and hard about taking Hakim Warrick at 9, but in the end have apparently settled on Ike Diogu at 9. Diogu gives them a no nonsense power forward with a great work ethic.

Damn thats a nice pick for GS if they take that, i think Diogu is the next Elton Brand but he'll be on a decent team.

Ike Diogu is more fundamentally sound than Brand coming off Duke, and he has a huge 7' 1" + wingspan for a 6'8" guy... Problem is, he's not athletic or explosive like Brand... We'll see how he fares in th eleague... My gut feeling though says, that if Granger is still available at 9, the Warriors will jump all over him and that means bye-bye Mike Jr.

I think I saw the 'new' Detroit Logo on the screen. I looked at the bottom and it had a relatively shiny ass version of the current logo that has 'pistons' over the ball, either that or I suck and its the old logo.

Some insight on Marvin: " Williams is a big time player, a 6-9 athlete with a world of potential. You had to like his willingness to be a sixth man as a freshman at UNC if it meant winning a national championship. The main question is his long-term intensity. This is a 19-year-old who admitted that last night he planned on spending the night watching SpongeBob SquarePants on TV. We aren't kidding. We suppose that is better than hitting the clubs of Manhattan, but it does cause for pause"

Ok all you Toronto people...WTF?

When the announcer says on world television "...makes no sense whatsoever," you've got issues.
“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.”
