8th pick, 30th pick and Jerome Williams to the Hornets for Magloire and the 33rd would be nice. :)

With the 54th I'm hoping the Knicks can get Dijon Thompson, former UCLA teammate of Ariza. :)

Put yourselves in the Hornets' shoes... why would they give away one of the few Centers left in the for unwanted guys with huge contracts? :?: :?

Exactly, and I don't even think Thomas would be that smart to even think about ripping somebody off judging by the trades he has done

Because they are in their finals years? As was mentioned, they are trade bait. Trade them, one year their contract is up & voila, cap space to sign some "supastar".

plus u get a draft pick who could become nice. Look at Amare drafted 8th I think. Same with wade too. Knicks don't want no risk and what production now which is what they will get.

Really? I haven't read anything about that. I was thinking you guys are leaning towards Hakim Warrick.

The time Magliore will be fed up with losing is nearing. Don't think he'll be traded to NY, but they trade does make sense, Jerome Williams is in his final year and the picks can turn out to be fine players.

Penny and Tim are in their final year. Other than that none.
That's still a lot considering the high salaries.

*Laughs so hard and starts to cry* I remember that stupid article talking about the Knicks trying to lure the Grizzlies into trading Pau for Penny. That trade wouldn't be so bad if it was probably Swift instead of Gasol and then that way they could still get the 8th pick and a young player in Ariza, but they really don't need him either with Dahntay Jones finally coming out of his hole from his rookie season.

Great idea! And while we're at it, how about the Pacers trade John Edwards, Eddie Gill and Jonathon Bender to the Nets for Jason Kidd, Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson!

I don't think we want Hakim Warrick since we already have Ndudi Ebi. Fred Hoiberg might be out for the season and Sprewell is leaving so Garcia would be a good fit. Not to mention we might hire one of the asst. coaches from Lousiville who would put in quite a good word on Garcia.

Honestly, I hope we don't take Warrick and I have a feeling we won't. I think we want Wright, Graham, Webster, or Garcia.

Channing Frye measured 6'9 without shoes, 6'10 with at the draft combine thing. Not only is he too frail he's not really that tall either.

The Knicks are going to hope for a smaller version of Chris Bosh.
