I'm not sure it's possible for Minnesota to be worse then they already are. Short of being the Atlanta Hawks.
Thu May 26, 2005 6:03 am
They missed the playoffs in the West by like 1 game.

Dirk for KG?! Would Minny even consider it?! If it does pull thru, Minnesota's management might have been smoking too much of them funny cigarettes.
"Drugs are bad, mmmkay."

Yeah, in the meantime their second best player who isn't a complete head case is Wally Sczojcozjdfsdopfjwopfj.

This year, Wally was our 2nd best player. But if Sam could have stayed healthy I think we could have made the playoffs. We started to play well down the stretch once Sam got semi-healthy again.

After thinking about it for a while, is no that bad of a trade for Dallas. You got Dampier, KG, Howard, Daniels and Cassel. Then you have KVH, Spreewell, Bradley (

), Henderson...not that bad, IMHO
Thu May 26, 2005 10:45 am
Hey don't get down on Wally. He's a really good player and the only reason he wasn't starting for Minny was that having 4 scorers on the floor at the same time was bad chemistry. Also when they started Cassel, KG, Wally and Spree at the same time their bench sucked ass.

I agree with fgrep15, that Pierce trade would be nice for us Clippers fans. Finally get us over the hump. It would be sad to see Corey go though.
By the way, Cuban would never trade Dirk.

^ didnt he also say he'd never rid of Nash??

I'm not sure how much Boston improves w/ that trade...Pierce isn't exactly old, and i think they want Al to grow into that PF position...that's why Walker is expendable.
Livingston looks like a great talent, but Boston has PGs already.
I'm not sure what Boston wants ?? A Center?
Livingston? Where did you get Livingston from, no way the Clippers will trade him to get Pierce. Pierce is good and all, but a 6'7 PG who can be the best PG in the league in the future and can do it on both ends, you don't trade that unless you're getting something real nice back. Next year he'll already be putting up numbers like 10-12 PPG, 4 RPG, 7-8 APG and playing pretty good defense.
Thu May 26, 2005 10:52 pm
Pierce IS real nice. But I don't think Livingston will be going BeanTown unless Big Al moves the other way, which will NEVER happen.

Riiight...and they would never break up such a promising & athletic young core of Kandi, Brand, Miles, and Q-Rich. Especially not for a guy like Andre Miller.

Sorry 2 go off topic. But Jae u said u werent a punk, what about alexisonfire??
Fri May 27, 2005 3:26 pm
They're not punk. The Sex Pistols are punk. The Ramones are punk. The Clash are punk. Seriously, if it's not 50 Cent or Tupac people don't know what the hell it is.

Can someone explain (to someone who doesn't watch Boston play a lot) exactly what is wrong with Antoine Walker? Why is he so hated? Sure he plays like a guard too much, but you can say that about half of the premier forwards (KG, C-Webb, Odom).
He's in the top20 All-NBA for Rebounds, made Field Goals, double doubles, Top25 for Offensive boards. While he's been in Boston he gets about a steal and block per game. He's a good passer, and plays a tough position at the PF spot. In terms of efficiency, he's actually ahead of Kenyon Martin, Stojakovic, and Ginobli.

Sprewell is a freee agent this summer, right?

Yes he is, and the Timberwolves want nothing of him. I've heard rumors about him going to Houston for most of the MLE.
Sat May 28, 2005 1:08 pm
HOuston may need to steer clear of Spree but on paper, if he can hold up over another 82 game season, it would be pretty good. He brings the speed they need at the two, defense and scoring. Don't know how he will mesh with T Mac though or how or if he will disrupt the team. He will probably only be worth one more season, if that now.
Sat May 28, 2005 2:10 pm
I heard him and Van Gundy got along pretty well in New York and they could use his size in the backcourt.
Sura-Sprewell-McGrady-Howard-Yao is pretty solid
Sat May 28, 2005 4:22 pm
Spree to the Rockets would give the Rockets another option on offence... Yao can free him up for jumpers and all. This could be good! Takes the slack off of Yao's shoulders... I think hed be taking more of Yao's shots than T-macs... Yao is gonna need some rest this season!

You've been insecure about 'having a life' since Jowe told you to get one
What's the topic about again?

But for KG?
And if Houston signs Spree, it should only be for one year.
Sat May 28, 2005 5:19 pm
Yeah I think Spree's chances of ever getting a fairly long term contract are slim to none considering what's gone on this season.
Sat May 28, 2005 6:56 pm
Ugh. The I need to feed my children bit all over. That would be the last we would see of him since there would be a bounty on his head.
