I think Ray Allen wants out. I don't see him back next year, but more then likely a sign and trade deal then anything.

Everyone will come to Miami!
(This is a joke list and should not be taken seriously, although it does show some possibilities as to which players might join Miami to get a championship ring...)

Centers:

1. Shaquille O'Neal (Player Option) - Miami: 5th~?th ring

8. Clifford Robinson (Team Option) - Miami: oh he wants a championship.

11. Alonzo Mourning - Miami, oh he'll want a second one

13. Dikembe Mutombo - Miami

Power Forwards:

1. Shareef Abdur-Rahim - Miami

6. Udonis Haslem (Restricted/Early Bird Rights) - Miami

7. Donyell Marshall - Miami

Small Forwards

1. Grant Hill (Player Option) - Miami: championship, of course

4. Kyle Korver (Restricted/Bird Rights) - I wish I could say Miami as he'd obviously be an awesome fit, but no...Philly won't give him away.

Shooting Guards:

1. Ray Allen - Demands trade and gets signed and traded for Eddie Jones

2. Michael Redd (Player Option) - Miami...no idea how. Maybe instead of Ray Allen.

6. Eddie Jones (Player Option) - Miami, but will be signed and traded maybe. Or who knows, after winning his championship he'll want to retire after signing and trading.

9. Latrell Sprewell - Miami

Point Guards:

4. Gary Payton - Miami: duh? championship?

7. Damon Stoudamire - Miami: he said he wanted to play for Miami if he isn't resigned by Portland.

10. Damon Jones (Player Option) - Miami

11. Nick Van Exel (Team Option) - Miami
Bored.

Jasikevicius will end up in Europe. As always. There's been a lot of talk about him playing in NBA but that will end up as always. He wants to play and he wants some money and no NBA team is willing to give him that. It's strange how NBA teams wants more and more European players but they sign and draft lots of players who are not even known in Europe (Tskitishvili, for example). But then talking about better players like Jasikevicius or Luis Scola (not European but still) they never seem to show enough interest.

seems a bit early for this but i guess it's fun to speculate, unless you're mafia, who has 'inside' information about the grizz....

for the big money players like allen, i think where they end up has a lot to do with the what new collective bargaining agreement (cba) will be...

I can see Ilgauskas, or Dalembert ending up on the Warriors, or at least I hope so, we need a Center, badly

With Adonal Foyle accounting for more than the GNP of Argentina, French Guinea and El Salvador put together, where will they find the cap to sign Z or Dalambert?

New Jersey is interested with Dalember(t), the "T" pronounced silently. :)
I wonder what team Ronald Murray will go to, IMO he has the ability to be damn good! (Y)

Yeah, he's a good athlete. He can run, jump, block shots, rebound... (Y) That's why I hope he stays in Philly. He brings the D down-low.

I wish the Rockets would sign Donyell Marshall with the MLE, I think he'd be a good fit. Or maybe a PG (maybe Payton?)

76ers management has repeatedly said that they won't match any offer made to Dalember, so it's byebye Sammy! Unless he really wants to stay in Philly with a lower salary.

he definately won't be with philly next year if this is the case. I could understand if it was a guard ( except AI) but we talking a center her...a position where there is so few who can play well.. some like the warriors go out of the way to sign a big man to ride the bench (Foyle and his 36mill contract!)

may the dalember bidding begin!
knicks, nets, lakers, suns are just a few that come to mind that could use his services as starting C

Philly is spending over $17 million for just 1 paint player ($19M next year)....nobody is surprised they can't offer Delambert much money.

Perhaps it was an error in judgement, but the big money on a big man was already spent...and not on Delambert.

They're gonna have to trade somebody for a true C, or even fake C.

Their biggest expenses are (after cwebb & AI) :
Mash: $10M
MacCulloch: $6.3M
Jackson: $4.5M
Ollie: $2.9M

Mashburn will probably retire, giving 76ers the 10M
MacCulloch...I thought they stopped paying him, finally?
Cwebb and AI covers much of the cap though. Will they have cap space for anyone? I wonder if they'll even match Korver's offer. Also, they could always sign-and-trade with Dalambert.

But...everyone will go to Heat! :D
