lol lets not get out of hand furious, but I have to say i more then share your hope (Y) (Y)

Some keys to tonights win:

1.) Obviously, Jeff Foster was enourmous. He provided so much tonight, and the stat sheet doesnt even say it all. Yeah, he got 14-20, but he kept the ball alive by tipping it to other guys and playing great defense down low. He was as someone else said, a MONSTER tonight. Great game Jeff.

2.) Reggie playing like Reggie. He hit some big 3s, and the one that was over Rip was one of the most amazing shots I've ever seen. Great game by Reg.

3.) Rick outcoaching Larry in the second half. Nuff said.

I have more to add, but i sweated alot during the game and i need a shower.

To beat Pistons, Pacers need to play hard out. I hope they can do this again in the next 3 rounds.
But this is unlikely to happen cuz there is no Ron Artest.

damn, i didnt expect the Pistons to collapse in the 4th (and 3rd) especially against the Pacers.

Oh well, I think we'll claim at least one on the road....going by this years record a 1-1 home split is good news. Now to the Conseco where Detroit have won the last 3 (Y)

Alright baby, we are KILLING them. We were up by as much as 18, but now we lead 42-28 at the half. It was 42-24, but the refs decided to give them 4 points.

(refrain from saying that, i have to)

But we are shutting them down. Great job by everybody in the first half.

I've never seen the Pistons play so fuckin awful (N) IMO, Indiana it's not playing that well, it's just that the Pistons look like an NBDL team right now :?

We should have won that game by 15-20, but we collapsed in the 4th. Its ok though, because we closed it out and reggie finished it up with a huge jumper to win.

We have a chance to go up 3-1 and we are going to take it, Ill be there to see it.

GO PACERS GO!

and i have one more thing to say:

hahahahahahaha Rasheed Wallace SUCKS!

wow this pacers team is unbelievable.. they keep pulling out all the stops. @ JO's 8 points, 6 fouls (the last one was pretty retarded) . i'm happy they didn't call a charge on the last play even though its pretty evident it was

It was such an exciting game. (Y)
Pacers almost lost the game.. but was saved by "Dirty  " Miller in the end
They were up 17 pts and then lost the lead in 4th quarter.
Rip's motive was pretty suspicious. Why did he want to foul Miller when he has 5 fouls?

Jeff Foster= Man of the Game!!!

Pistons played without much confidence.. except Billups. :x

Pacers win it, edging out the Chicago Bulls.

And they didn't count the dunk!! It was funny as hell... :P

To clarify, did the ball go into the net, then out of the net after it bounced of his head?

Exactly, but it did not count as a point, because the ball did not go all the way through the net.

How so? They have most of their lineup intact and they were a potential 60 win team. I'd call them underrated before overachieving.

Yay two games left and it looks like Snaq is not gonna be 100% so the Heat series is gonna be even easier for the Pacers!

If the pacers go to the ECF and beat the Heat my bookie is never gonna take a bet from me again!

there's still plenty of games to go........this is a team that came back from a 3-1 deficit to win 4-3, we also were down last year 3-2 to NJN before getting an away win and thrashing them at home. Us Detroit fans know not to panic when we're down. Having said that, Pacers are really play hard out there. IMO, this series is tougher than if we were to play Miami but in the end i think Detroit will prevail.

Im thinking Detroit win the next 2 games, an away and home. Game 6 would be a tough prediction. Let's just focus on game 4, and damnit LB needs to use more players.

Losing your best defensive player isn't intact, Spurs are hardly intact if Duncan goes out.

They're also playing against the world champions who were strong enough to decimate the strongest dynasty in recent history, and the Pistons are basically 100% without any injuries at all.

I don't know of a single sportswriter or oddmaker that has Indiana winning 3 games this series, and they're already almost there.

I said most of their lineup intact. The lineup they used for most of the season remains intact and they are capable of matching up with the Pistons, not to mention they've become quite familiar with them having played essentially the same team last season.

That's not to say they haven't overachieved and they've certainly overcome obstacles, but they're a much better team than their record would suggest, even without Artest. To me they haven't overachieved as much as a Bulls team with a weaker roster that began the year 0-9 and still finished higher in the standings. They do however remain somewhat underrated.

Another Guaransheed...jeesh..
Larry Brown will get fined for criticizing officials again. I'm sick of all thes coaches keep on talking about referees blah blah blah. Just live with it. Sometimes it works for you, sometimes it works against you. I mean cmon, Larry Brown has defending champions and Pacers went through a whole lot of shit in this season. No one call can justify losing to a team that you're supposed to have a huge advantage against! Larry Brown complaining about officiating is like beating up a handicapped person, just plain wrong. I understand how Carlisle seemed pretty angry.
Bored.

hahaha, ______ vs ______ threads are always so much fun.
People keep arguing about those same little things.
Also very non-important factors come up to try to still make the losing team look good/give them a chance.
At the end, I think Indiana will take it in 6, maybe 7.Obviously the key for them to win this series is Foster to keep playing like he currently does and Reggie Miller needs to start shooting at a higher %.

it´s just that funny seeing detroit lose against a team missing one of their top players and having a lot of injury plagued players

how could you not be rooting for the pacers! well unless you're boston and detroit fans

rasheed probably has the best shooting touch for a big man, but man he's gotta do more post ups instead of hanging out in the perimeter.

injuries shouldn't be an excuse. at this point, every team has some kind of nagging injury from the long season. hamilton did a great job gutting it out in the 4th

foster- you've caputred the hearts of nba fans

carlisle in the postgame was great and it's a shame to hear coach brown saying he's never had to coach effort.
