personally i think you are looking too much into this 6th man thing. you could pick apart basicly any of the awards and come up with a reason why its bullshit. davis is playing great off the bench. if he started his energy would be wasted at first. like i said before its the 6th man award not 6th option award or award for the player on a team with the 6th most playing time. you come off the bench first you are the 6th man its that simple.

btw there is alot to be said for coming off the bench and scoring the way ricky does. its alot different when you actually start the game.

My vote goes to Gordon... hes got energy, clutch shooting and alot of firepower from off the bench. This and the Bulls' success and their new status as a dangerous team in the playoffs... their first playoff berth since MJ left should all account for Ben's creditability for the award. That set aside, the stats are even more impressive becasue Gordon averages more minutes per minute than any of the other candiadtes... he should win the award, if u asked me...

As I said, Kevin, they want him to be the best player on the bench, and Ricky is a kind of player that needs much attention to get points. He can't play together with Pierce and Walker, because they only score the points and everybody is focused on them.
