A lot of you put Stack down for 6th man, but Ricky Davis is doing better in almost every statistical category (as of the all-star break)... Stack is averaging about 1 more ppg and 1 more rpg, but RD beats him in every other important category

Most Improved - Grant Hill hands down
MVP - Steve Nash

Just LOOK AT Grant Hill! He is shooting ABOVE 50% from the game, most from jumpers. He is amazing, and he said at the all-stars game that he isnt at his best yet. Amazing, simply amazing...

well, it's not much of an improvement, considering he used to be one of the best in the game..

If they're looking at how much he improved from last season, then I guess he should win it.

But if they're comparing to four years ago before he got injured then he actually is playing worse...

Sun Feb 27, 2005 1:47 pm

The fact that he is playing at all is a testament to his determination..

MVP: Nash
6th man: Stackhouse

Give Larry Hughes some love for DPOTY. He's leading the league in steals.

Improvement is considered with last season or the year before and so. No one compares the stuff that happened in nineties to what he is now after those years of injuries and hard work to get back on the court and contribute strong. I consider him one of the best Small Forwards in the league right now.

Iverson did that a year or two ago and didn't even see himself in the League All-Defensive Teams.

The Olympics pretty much ruined any chance of my looking at any of those guys as DPOTY's.

And its hard to look at a guy that's been injured a large part of the season as DPOTY.
