Doesnt Darko get better training and playing with a championship team and when his time comes, he will awesome from all that training?

Tue Feb 15, 2005 8:29 pm

personally i think detroit knows how good darko IS and how good he COULD be and by not playing him they are limiting other teams from seeing how good he IS/COULD be and then they wont offer a big contract after his rookie one is up...so then detroit can snatch him up at the low, low price of $12.99 with a free pack of doritos.

smart gm-ing...but TOOOOOO BAAAAADS darko! :)

not necessarily, he's only playing against players on his own team.. so he might do well against them but when he plays against other players he might just lick balls.. playing against the same people over and over again just doesn't cut it

Tue Feb 15, 2005 9:05 pm

But hes playing against top defensive players... especially Big ben. so maybe he gets better post moves! (Y)

I think I said this before, but I know someone who is a good friend of Derrick Coleman. He told me that Coleman told him that Darko is one of the best players during practice, but gets nervous or something during the games and blows it.

lol this is hilarious....a thread discussing a guy who scored 8 points in a game

anyway I see him being a very very poor man's Pau Gasol.....nothing less nothing more.

I notice this during games, too. If he can get used to playing in a full house environment, get his confidence up, then he'll be great. He's just gotta re-adjust. After seeing him last year, I thought he was a piece of shit that will be out of the NBA in no time, but yeah, he's raw as raw as they can get.

i have to agree here. they are saving him i think. if he played big now when his 3-4 years were up he would bolt, this keeps him there.
