And how can the Knicks not get into the play-offs? They almost have the #3 spot in the East on lock, because so far I don't think any team in the Atlantic plays better than the Knicks (or should I say NY doesn't play as bad a the rest?)

The Nets might make a come back with the "reborn" VC but the Knicks will make the playoffs for sure.
I wouldn't say the only mistake thomas made was to get rid of KVH, the knicks needed to rebuild, to hold on their draft picks and expiring contracts. He traded all that to get marbury, crawford. He didn't get rid of houston either.
The problem is in new york you need to win immediately and respond to the expectations.

Dont forget they also got Mahoumad in the kvh deal, and he's been a good player for the knicks this season.
