I wouldnt call T-mac and Kobe a rivalry... they're actually more like friends.... and they odnt try to kill each other...

but Shaq and Kobe are different. Once Shaq sees Kobe he's gonna give him something for Christmas... wonder what Shaq will shove up Kobe's ass... (Even though I don't want Kobe to run around the court funny... looking a bit constipated!)

Yeah, Kobe and Tracy already were friends when T-Mac was a rookie, they also both went to Disney World during a Adidas promotion tour and according to Kobe, Tracy was scared of the Space Mountain :P

anyone remember that ppv event that almost happened but never came to pass. shaq vs olajuwon one on one. they had like 5-7 matches(all one on one) scheduled for ppv but then shaq or the dream(i forget) backed out so they cancelled the whole thing. man i wish that came to be i so would get ppv for that kinda thing. hell they could do it still now, take 10 one on one matchups and throw it live on ppv, i bet it would make a few bucks.

There would be no NBA if it weren't for Wilt vs. Russell.

The NBA wouldn't be what it is today with Magic vs. Bird.

As for teams, Lakers vs. Celtics. Obviously Magic-Bird, but before that, West/Baylor's Lakers would be beaten by Russell's Celts.

Sixers vs. Celtics, and before that the Warriors. Bascially an extention of Wilt vs. Russell, but it was continued with Doc vs. Bird.

Sixers vs. Lakers was a decent rivalry. Very one-sided, though. Philadelphia fans hated the Lakers, while Laker fans really couldn't care less.

I think a while back, they had Dr. J vs. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on PPV. I don't know who won, but I heard it sucked.
