(Y)(Y)

That's it, he just falls down everytime, mostly against Shaq...

You cant touch the man without him falling down. Sheesh, some game last year, Iverson went in for a layup, and Vlade fell down...Iverson was charged for a Offensive foul. It's a good strategy though...it's a turnover for the opposing team, but still...it's too sissy'ish for my liking.

Bill Lambier come to mind folks? But yeah, because of his flopping show, the Bad Boys kept winning. (One of the reasons.)

i don't care if i get it from others.

i think it's very annoying when certain broadcasters treat halfway decent caucasions like superstars that can't do no wrong.

how come most people don't like Vlade?

since he's mostly just on their shit lists, ask the lakers fans in this forum.

*sigh* I haven't seen Lambier play, whatever I said, I got from ESPN Classic. They said, because of his flopping, he managed alot of turnovers on crucial plays...it was a part of their success. I should have put it that way...

Oh your fuckin god? What are you some kind of Basketball genius? Gosh I'm sorry Mr Crawford, I would take ESPN's word over yours.

His flopping helped them win...it was his contribution. Like Rodman's rebounding was contribution to winning, Lambiers flopping was to Detroit.

NBA History wrote:Bill Laimbeer was one of the most notorious players ever to throw an elbow, thrust a hip, or feign being fouled.

NBA History wrote:In 14 bruising NBA seasons Laimbeer made up for his minuscule vertical leap, slow feet, and sluggishness by becoming a master of posturing, muscling, and anticipating ---plus fomenting trouble, pretending to be fouled, and drawing his opponents' ire.

NBA History wrote:The Laimbeer "flop" became the stuff of legend. A grimacing Laimbeer would often go careening to the floor in reaction to the slightest tap from an opponent. More often than not, the whistle went his way. With aggravating if not refreshing candor, Laimbeer never disavowed his on-court histrionics.

NBA History wrote:Playing the role of head villain, he led the "Bad Boys" of Detroit to back-to-back championships in 1989 and 1990.

Bill Laimbeer talks about the Pistons too much Image
He keeps going "I know who will go to the playoffs and win it all! THE PISTONS!" Image

and Greg Anthony is Disturbing....

He goes"This Basketball team is great in passing" and "This basketball team will make the playoffs" OR "Tim Duncan is great on THIS BASKETBALL TEAM"

the real reason they hate him is because hes on the kings, one of the few teams that can actually stop the lakers. they never hated him or his "flopping" when he was on the lakers, either that or they dont remember him even being there and are too young maybe.

laimb'ier' comes to mind when speaking of divac?

sigh

for every flop laim'bier' did, he gave a hard foul. divac is a flop waiting to happen whereas laimbeer could play tough defense, make a defensive stop and not soley rely on the flop. and laimbeer did not lead the piston's to their back to back championships- it was joe dumars and isiah thomas. laimbeer was a major contributor (flopping was not his only contribution as you say  ) but not the leader. the only leading he was doing was being the head villain of the 'bad boys' style of play. it doesn't take a genius to know this. you don't need espn or whatever internet site to know this. any person who watched the nba during the 80's knows this.

whenever nba.com or any other internet site like nba.com is stating an opinion on the pistons or their players during the late 80's, i take with a grain of salt. nba.com vastly overrates his flopping and vastly underrates his defense and other skills.... clearly when the pistons were winning there was a lot anti sentiment towards them. cbs, nbc, and the nba wanted the showtime lakers, bird's celtics, and jordan and the jordanair's hoisting the championship trophy, not the pistons and their rugged style of play.

the only similarity between divac and laimbeer is that they both flopped (who doesn't these days anyway) divac is a better passer and ball handler. laimbeer was a much better rebounder, better perimeter shooter, free throw shooter, clutch shooter, more mentally tough, more physical, more durable, a bigger asshole, and easier to hate

for your sake, i hope your thinking isn't easily swayed just by reading an article off the internet

if you're going to be childish or try and make this personal with your reply- end of discussion for me
