Really?, you don't think Ray is all-round, I know he might not be the best defender but he can hold own on the defensive end. Also he put up some nice number in the transition to Seattle 24.5ppg 5.6rpg 5.9 apg, I think being with Cassell never made him feel the need to be a playmaker.

He already is arguably and will definately be a better all-around player than Allen, but good point about the others holding him back. I don't agree, because he could never be double teamed with a good-great PG and SF waiting. And Seattle has a lot more weapons than Philly does, especially with all of the injuries this year.

Rashard is actually one of my fav players, but he isn't better, why? He isn't any better than Allen on the defensive end, and he's not a playmaker at all.

I meant a game winning free throw, and I definately wouldn't pick Houston over Pierce, Allen, or Kobe in the clutch. And Iverson is a very good shooter, but he's too unpredictable. I've seen him make threes from half court getting double teamed(twice), only to come back and miss a wide open layup. Or, more relevent, to make an incredible game winning shot over Baron Davis, only to blow game 2 against Detroit by missing two free throws.

I really wouldn't care if it was Pierce, Kobe, Houston, Carter or Allen.(Tmac and Ivy I dunno, don't trust them as much).

And as for making the plays, I've lost count of the times I've seen him get doubled in the last few seconds, only to make a great pass to Eric Snow or Aaron McKie for the game winner. And on defense, he has gotten much better at picking the ball off the dribble, and it doesn't matter what he'd do if the person was driving, if he steals the pass, and he's done that a lot in the fourth quarter.

Yup for sure Ivy has made some nice plays. This is not a thing he has over the other guys though, because, they can all make that pass to the open man to win the game. They also can all steal, not as well as Ivy, but Carter and Tmac have made a lot of clutch blocks to also seal a game. I remember against Atlanta Carter had the block on Terry, recovered the ball and called the timeout. Then he hit the game tying shot.

Vince defence has stepped up big time in the last couple of weeks.
He has been shot blocking like Garnett and stealing like Iverson. for example his last game against Portland where he got something like 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 blocks, and 3 steals. You cant tell me just form those statistics that is not amazing defence.

Carter should be more selfish and shoot more but on a team like the raptors it is difficult to get a lot of points when you got Marshall, Rose, and Bosh. Im sure if he wanted to he could average high 20's in points a game.

Yea I remember in the interview after the game he's like man, now when I look at the stat sheet, I look for assists and turnovers, those are the most important things to me.

This list is my top SG in the league.. I'm not talkin about the best player... There is a difference.. Iverson would lead a team better than Ray Allen, but Allen with his size and shooting ability is arguably a better SG.

1. Kobe, Tmac tied
reason: They are more athletic than Pierce, this simply makes them better.
3. Paul Pierce
reason: If he was more athletic, being able to blow by defender with ease and jump over his opponents, he would be #1. His hardwork, def is better than Kobe and Tmac but he isn't as blessed with quickness and jumping ability.
4. Ray Allen
man this guy is underrated.. he can shoot.. him and Cassell could be the best 1,2 shooters in the NBA. He is only a shooter? Look at his assist #s and rebounding #s.. He is a decent defender also.
5. Allen Iverson
he is too short, i'm sorry, with his 6 feet frame.. he is just losing too much to the bigger guards in the league.. I'm not saying i'll atke Allen over him.. He is the best little guy in the NBA, not the best SG.
6. Vince Carter
he is clutch this season, a little inconsistent, i liked him better in his 3rd season in the NBA, he drove more to the hoop.. He just lost that desire to dunk on every1 everytime down da floor, but he still knows hes gotta do it to get to the line and help the team, but it isn't his best interest. He is not 1-dimensional... He helped his team with some clutch def plays but overall he isn't up there with Pierce/Artest as the better wing stoppers.
