somehow Lewis skipped my mind. Pierce's career high is 48pnts i believe, he scored 2pnts in the 1st half and 46 in the 2nd against the Nets. Maybe he'll score 50 this season but i still think only 2 players will reach 50, AI and TMac, if somebody else does it might be a little unexpected just like Lewis 50

after reading the last post.. i just remembered something

i remember last year when kobe busted out 41 pts by halftime against the wiz and everyone made a big deal out of it coz he broke elgin baylors record.. im surprised they didn't really give pierce the same recognition for his game against new jersey.. 46 in 2 quarters.. thats NUTS!

Yeah that was a great game. They shut him down in the first half and then he just turned it on, getting to the line a ton. Out of all players in the NBA, I know you can always count on PP to turn it on in the fourth quarter during close games.
