As Cavaliers fan i dont like seeing Ricky get traded away, but as a Ricky fan, its good to see him go somewhere, where he can team up with another talented offensive player.
Paul and Ricky could make quite a team.
Ricky clearly wasnt enjoying himself in Cleveland as Lebron James had the whole town and team riding him.

I like Celtics coz of Pierce, but now with Ricky D and Pierce its gonna be good.

as for the Cavs, i think it may help them out later down the track, Kedrick Brown has talent, Tony Battie can be decent and now Darius Miles may increase his numbers(hopefully) and this will make a great opening for Dejaun Wagner when he gets back.

Cleveland Line-up with Wagner:

PG: Lebron James
SG: Dejaun Wagner
SF: Darius Miles(i think he'll get it back)
PF: Carlos Boozer
C: Zydrunas Ilguaskas
with Kedrick,Bremer,Newble,Battie,Williams,Diop,Ollie off the bench.

Celtics Lineup:
PG: Mike James
SG: Paul Pierce/Ricky Davis
SF: Ricky Davis/Paul Pierce
PF: Vin Baker
C: Raef Lafrentz/Chris Mihm
with Mihm/Lafrentz,Jumaine Jones,Juri Welsch,Walter Mccarty,Marcus Banks off the bench.

i think both teams did well, Boston now, but Cleveland needed one of there swindman/guards to go, for when Dejaun gets back(wen is that anyway?)

I think this is one of those trades where in a few years time people will look at the trade and say "What the fuck were Cleveland thinking?"

Ricky Davis will only improve as a player.

But i don't think Cleveland will be kicking themselves because this trade compliments LeBron. they get the defense they've always needed, and team chemistry, while getting rid of cancer.

i think i'd rather have eric williams at sf for now. darius could be good, but he'll help better off the bench, cuz boy he cant shoot! :D and hows that gonnna stretch the d for ziggy or bron or wanny? a team with a good inside pres centre and a bunch of slashers just doesnt cut it in my opinion. but eric williams aint no steve kerr either.....

wow i don't belive i forgot about this.......Dajuan Wagner is scheduled to return soon and while he was working out again i saw a few articles of paul silas saying how much he loves his play and how he has the perfect shooting form, he said he wasn't sure if he was going to start him but now since Ricky is gone he will be the 2, he's like an iverson but a better shooter

I could be wrong, but that AI statement is wild. I liked Wagner since he was a Junior in HS and I know that he and Ivey are friends and have played together in several workouts, but let's not get carried away, it's like people are supposed to believe that having half your knee repaired is going to make someone better, he wasn't that good at Memphis with the whole knee, now he's Allen Iverson with a better shot, it's just wishing thinking.

I hope he is awesome, but let's not overstate things to the point where the guy is hyped beyone his abilities, then whatever he does it's not enough. This sort of hype will only make Wagner look bad later, unless somehow he becomes as good as Iverson, something that not many people have done over past 100 years.

Just like Toronto-Chicago this is an offense for defense trade. Boston is abandoning their style for a free-flowing offense. Davis and Mihm bring offensive punch. Williams and Brown are defensive stoppers and while no stopper Battie is better against Power Forwards than Mihm. The Cavaliers should use Ilgauskas, Boozer, Newble, Williams and James as their lineup. Newble and Williams will shut down the opposing wing, while Ilgauskas can get fed the ball in the post 50 times a game, opening things up for Newble and Williams who can easily replace Davis' scoring in that situation. When you sit Newble or Williams in comes Bremer or Wagner to add a scoring punch, and you slide James up to the two in terms of defense.

oh no i didn't mean like iverson in skill just in how he plays, he's not near as quick as ivy is and doesn't have the hustle but he can get to the line fairly well and i think has a little better hops, not as good a passer either

the most im expecting from him is 15ppg maybe.....he is a bettter shooter tho but not nearly as good...

wagner as good as iverson haha

He must be pretty good, I heard he posted 100+ points in a high school game.
i mean it is only high school, but hey, 100 points is impressive anywhere.
and he is only 20

yea i know also scored 80 i think when he was a highschool junior, he's a pure scorer and a good shooter great athleticism too, but his decision making, defense and his attitude was questionable last year, i heard he has changed his ways tho, he needs to be more willing to pass but wait LJ is the PG now, he has sick handles too and is strong for his size and can draw contact so you never know, he's supposed to also be a good leader too but the knee and kidney last year have set him back a little......he'll also be third option on the Cavs if Z is still gonna be there ive heard trade rumours about him

CHanged Wagner?

has Kedrick Brown become a shooter??.....he's taking a lotta 3's and he's making a pretty good percentage this season....it seems like some of the guys that people say just have hops and are just slashers always start shooting from long range a lot

Jrich, Carter, Brown?, Chris Jefferies, Marion

Kedrick?

thats my boi......ive been waiting so long for kedrick to blow up and light it up and score 25 or something...common
