That trade where Utah recieved Keon Clark was pretty bad for Sacramento. Even though Kings needed cap, Clark could be an all-star, starting on any other team.

Maybe Sacramento knew that Keon Clark had an injury, which it seems he does and has kept him most of the season.

In order to get Brad Miller they had to move some players like Hedo and Clark, it seems that it has worked out very well, Miller had a triple double last game out and is getting 15.6 ppg 10.2 rebs 5.3 ast.

Although the bench is thinner right now, but when Webber returns they will have Vlade taking Clark's position on the bench, that just leaves Hedo being replaced and Anthony Peeler seems to be the guy.

I like the move. (Y)

Though Sacramento gave up two 2nd round picks and Clark for a future number one pick. They could add a decent player with that pick in the middle first round or maybe even the lottery.

Because Brad Miller was leaving Indiana, they had to deal him I guess, but they could have asked for something more than Scott Pollard and the retired Danny Ferry for Brad Miller and Ron Mercer. To me this seems worse than trading Clark.

I don't think Marion was in the league when that trade went down but I could be wrong.

Why don't you people check NBA.com?

Right down under the player's stats are their transactions. (usually)

I have to say the most recent:
Bonzi Wells to memphis for Wes Person and a 1st Rounder. I know Bonzi's contract is up at the end of the year, but he may be the best player not to be considered a superstar in the NBA. The way the Grizzlies are going, the 1st round pick may ne fairly low.

well we can't really blame orlando but......

Grant Hill for Ben Wallace and Chucky Atkins

Sixers trading Moses Malone, Terry Catledge and two 1st-round picks to Washington for Cliff Robinson and Jeff Ruland

Sixers trade trading Brad Daugherty to Cleveland Roy Hinson

Sixers trading Charles Barkley to Phoenix for Jeff Hornacek, Andrew Lang and Tim Perry

Sixers trading Wilt Chamberlain what are u thinking to the L.A. Lakers for Jerry Chambers, Archie Clark and Darrall Imhoff

San Francisco trades Wilt Chamberlain to the Philadelphia 76ers for Connie Dierking, Paul Neumann and some other guy

When Golden State traded Robert Parish and Kevin McHale to Boston for Joe Barry Carroll and Rickey Brown

Golden State trades Bernard King to New York for Micheal Ray Richardson and a 5th-round pick and then Ray Ray gets banned from the NBA ouch!!!

Cleveland Cavaliers: Ron Harper to the Los Angeles Clippers for
the rights to Danny Ferry

How about the Indiana Pacers trading a first-round draft pick to
Portland for Tom Owens? Owens played one season for the Pacers, and gues what that first-round selection turned out to be the second pick in the 1984 draft which could have been used to select Michael

The Knicks once traded a No. 1 pick for Jawaan Oldham. The pick
turned out to be Scottie Pippen

Charlotte trading the rights to Kobe Bryant to the Lakers for Divac

Phoenix sends Dennis Johnson to Boston for Rick Robey

New York Nets who in 1976 deals Julius Erving to Philadelphia for cash.... freaking cash

Bucks trade Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to Lakers for Elmore Smith, Junior Bridgeman, Brian Winters and Dave Meyers

Hawks trade Kenny Smith and Roy Marble for Tim McCormick and John Lucas

Hawks trade Dominique Wilkins for Danny Manning

Well .. as far as i know, Kobe never wanted to play for Charlotte, so trading him for Vlade Divac doesnt sound like a bad idea to me. You always have to consider the circumstances under which the trade was made. Like that Jabbar trade. I only know what has been posted here about it, but if he really doesnt wanted to resign with the Bucks, this trade is also far from worse. The Bucks got at least something for him, other than letting him walk for nothing.

That draft night deal in 98 seems pretty bad ... Dirk Nowitzki for Robert "Tractor" Traylor.

And it seems Washington has no luck when it comes to trades. They had Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace and Chris Webber and let them go.

1st rounder, flip murray, kevin ollie, AND ray allen for gary payton and des mason. because anyone with basic logic knew that gary wasnt gonna stay in milly, nuh uh. so it becomes, basically, flip murray (mip), ollie and ray allen AND a 1st for desmond.............. OUCH!!!

i know this isnt the complete three way deal but basically look at it as what indiana got in the deal and what they gave away. indiania got danny ferry, aging, balding player who was was once okay, and scot pollard (heee heee do you remember when people were saying he would do okay in the east? :D 1.6 ppgs and 2.2 rpgs a game later..........) FOR brad miller and ron mercer. brad miller is looking very nice....... very nice.

another brad miller trade, lucky brad, and again it inncludes mercer!!!! coincidence or fate?! i think fate!. ron artest, ron mercer, and brad miller for kevin ollie, jalen rose, travis best and norman richardson. looks almost reasonable, but not from where im standing. great wing defender, good passing center are invaluable.

jermaine o'neal for dale davis. at least portland learned there lesson and kept zach.

glen rice and bj armstrong and jr reid for eddie jones and elden campbell. it really doesnt matter cuz the lakes won anyway, but imagine a defense pairing of kobe/eddie, they could shut down most any 3,2, or 1 which scottie and pip showed us is invaluable. campbell wasnt bad either you know, he sure wouldve been perfect as the starting pf theyd been looking for for years before malone was gift wrapped to them.

obviously pip for poly.

otis thorpe for grizzlie future 1st (in all fairness though, i dont think grizz expected to suck for that long)

mike bibby for white chocolate. my opinion, very one sided in sacs favor. just my opinion.

nyk doug christie and herb williams to toronto for willie anderson and victor alexander................. willie who?

i guess the hill for wallace thing was a bad un for orlando but only because of the unexpected injury plagued grant hill. if not grant hill is a hall of famer, and its fairly equal so you cant blame orlando.

i wont kill the chandler for brand thing yet, cuz chandler looked good 'fore he got injured. plus he's tall, height is everything y'know.

Far and away the worst ever...despite what Antoine Walker claims his deal was not...this one pretty much gave the Celtics three championships and two other Finals trips...

kobe for divac isnt a bad trade....i think the starter of this post was looking for things like awesome player for completely crappy player....its ridiculous of you guys to say that when kobe wanted to play in la anyways, and divac is an excellent player, 2nd or 3rd best center in the league anyways...if the lakers wouldnt have had shaq when that trade went down, then its the lakers that look stupid because they're the ones who obviously cant play without a legitimate center...

i dont think its been posted but what about

Celts get: Vin Baker, Shammond Williams
Sonics get: Joe Forte, Vitally Potepenko, and Kenny Anderson

not the worst of all time but all i can say is

Also another recent celtics one
Suns get: Joe Johnson, Randy Brown, Milt Palacio, and a 2002 first-round draft pick (Casey Jacobsen) some quality guys went after him though...
Celts get: Tony Delk, Rodney Rogers

Rogers missed several clutch shots against the Nets that year to cost us the eastern finals, then left to the nets in the offseason. Delk was a throw in in the walker deal. and Johnson develuped into exactly what the celtics had needed, a third scorer (averaging about 14 a game along with 4 rebs and 4 ast).

once again not the worst deal ever, but without those two deals, the celtics would be in a much better position right now....

I think kobe's sayin' did have an influence, look at steve francis, he didnt want to play for the Vancouver(back then) Grizzlies, so they traded him to houston(i know they had bibby but that wasn't an issue, some don't see francis as a real point anyway)

you are wrong kobe said he wants to play in LA nowhere else(well it looks tricky it may be true Jerry West wanted him so much that he confused his mind)well charlotte had nothing to do

I never heard him say that, maybe his favorite team to play for would be the Lakers, but I doubt that a High School kid has a voice to say that he will only play for LA. The Lakers wanted Kobe the whole time, they had it planned, because NBA experts said that he would be a late 1st round pick so they tought they had him locked, when it turned out that the Hornets used up their draft pick in him, the Lakers were still after him and traded Divac for him

...and the great Run TMC is history

2) GSW trade Tim Hardaway and scrubs for .... for... BIMBO COLES!! and Kevin Willys... BIMBO COLES!!!! ...I just couldn't believe... Just hear it: B-I-M-B-O C-O-L-E-S.... This is the all time worst name ever, alongside Otis Thorpe... Soon after I quit as a Warriors fan :-)
