I'm taking Golden State in 7. They looked pretty bad at times against OKC, but I think homecourt advantage puts them over the top. Curry finally gets his coveted finals MVP

True. GSW looked bad at times during the playoffs and Cavs looked pretty good losing only 2 games enroute to the Finals, but I think it's because of difference in quality of opponent. The Warriors will manhandle Cavs. That makes ThunderWarriors series our actual Finals. This is more like gala show.

but cleveland has improved 3pt shooting, healthy love/irving, , channing frye, and lue as their coach! i could see thompson giving them problems on the glass.

big challenge for lue to keep love & iriving both on the floor without getting destroyed on defense. plus has frye been challenged to guard someone this postseason??

i think GSW should just go ahead with the death lineup

So it turn out when a bench has 40+ points, the other team probably wont win.

Our lack of a true 5 hurts too I guess. We saw in the last series semi-skilled 7fters give GS some trouble. Maybe we'll see Mozzy return.

And yet, people complain about Curry not getting the Finals MVP last year. Iguodala was the difference maker last year, and absolutely deserved Finals MVP. I doubt the rest of the series goes this way as far as Curry and Thompson's shooting is concerned, but if it does, neither of them should get the Finals MVP hardware.

Cavs big 3 missed a bunch of bunnys. Thought ljames was going off for 50 after his first few bully ball baskets. Lue had some good counter plays to get ljames iso on a smaller guard off a pick by irving.

Cavs did miss a lot of layups and post shots. That attempt by Love that hit the side of the board might have let David Wesley off the hook for the worst layup or post shot in Cavs/NBA history.

I wouldn't get too ahead of myself. This happens in every series. We see one game and we feel we can predict the entire serie.

Spurs take first game against the Thunder by a blowout: Spurs gonna sweep this.

Thunder take Game 1 of WCF in Oakland: Thunder gonna win this.
Warriors blow out the Thunder in Game 2: Oh, Warriors got this. 4-1.
Thunder blow out Warriors in Game 3 and 4: Bye bye Golden State.

That's what happens. We can not expect every game of the serie to be the same. We just saw Game 1. We don't know what's going to happen in the next 3 to 6 games. All I'm seeing is: "Oh, Cavs suck." "Bron back to Miami" "NovU fapping because he has a hate-love crush with LeBron and wants him to lose because he wants him back in MIA" "Warriors gonna sweep this with his bench resting Curry and Klay for Rio".

Let's relax and enjoy the series all together.

i am curious to see the adjustments Lue will make.
-can he find minutes for Frye? Kerr countered with Green and Lue was quick to bench him
-who can he hide Irving on? Barnes ate him up and is smiling his way on to a max contract thanks to Iriving
-will he stick with Love? at least he was aggressive
-more minutes in order for Mozgov?

GSW i believe was +16 with Curry on the bench...

Iggy and the rest of the bench especially Livingston went off after Delly hit his nuts. Cavs shouldn't worry that much losing this one but if they lost the next game in a similar fashion this series is over.

Cavs envy the Warriors so much that they have been mimicking their shooting game in the playoffs. They been able to rape weaker broken down eastern teams while shooting nuts. But come the game of long range, Warriors are simply the best and it will take miracle to beat Warriors in their own game. Obviously when Frye is best adjustment you could make, you're in a lot of trouble. I'm more interested if more Iman could make some difference. JR can be way too often useless. You are pretty much asking him to beat Klay, Barnes, Iggy 4 games out of 7 and that isn't happening.
