with all due respect to Duncan he plays a fundamental game..so itz kinda boring if he starts...but if Nowitzki starts he will launch threes and others...if not that i don't respect Duncan's game itz just that All-star game is meant to entertain people so i'd take Nowitzki over Duncan

Although I do not believe this merits an All-Star selection, it's an entertaining idea, he really could bring something new to the game, not since Pete Maravich has the game seen the abilities of Rafer.

Isiah did some cool stuff before, but not like Pistol, Jason Williams' elbow pass in the Rookie game to LaFrentz or what Rafer could bring.

I would love to see a three-on-three game with Rafer and J. Williams on opposing sides with bigger dunkers as teammates.

Same with Rafer Alston, hes not even a star on his team (under .500 team), so how can he be a All-Star of the entire NBA East?

Its All-Star game, not All-Show game, All-1 on 1 game or whatever

My lineups...

EAST

C Ben Wallace
F Jermaine O'Neal
F Ron Artest (because he promised to flagrantly foul anyone who tried to dunk)
G Lebron James (...is King of Basketball)
G Jason Kidd

WEST

C Yao Ming
F Amare Stoudemire (Tim Duncan bores me to tears)
F Dirk Nowitzki (Change of pace)
G Stephon Marbury (Does any two guard in the West deserve this spot?)
G Steve Francis (I'd love to see if space and time breaks down when two men attempt to take the ball upcourt and shoot it at the same time)

That kid Bryant who...

1. Has killed his own reputation.
2. Has pissed off his own teammates.
3. Has taken a numbers hit due to his new team.
4. Showed up for this season completely out of shape?
and 5. May not even be available for the All-Star game?

Sorry...there are other guys who deserve that spot in my book...guys who will appreciate it like Marbury.

Actually he will, if you have read the lastest news, it has stated that there will be hearings on DEC 19th, and another one in jan sometime, and it also statsed that the trial will most likely not begin till summer or fall and even as late at winter. so I think it is safe to say he would be able to play in the allstar game

1. Killed his reputation off the court, not on the court, he's still one of the top guards the league has, so I don't agree with number one.

2. Pissed them off, and worked it out now they didnt? Number 2's gone too.

3. I don't see any hits? Prove em.

4. Players work themselves into the game, it comes naturally to him, who gives a rats ass as to what kind of shape he's in? "Whatever you're trying to prove here, its not the way to do it" since Shaq came into last season out of shape and still managed to get on the All-Star team.

5. Already Explained

So, you see, you're saying he shouldnt start because of his offcourt problems... How bout we screw that and you start looking at the way he plays on the court?? Thank You.

* Guys who will appreciate it like Marbury? You must be Kobe's best friend, how else would you know he wouldnt appreciate it? *

1. Tim Duncan is probably the top player the league has period..that doesn't mean I want to watch him in the All-Star game. The All-Star game is about entertainment...there are some people I won't enjoy seeing for different reasons. Player skill is one of the factors...not the only one.

2. I have no idea what you said.

3. Last season...30 points, 7 boards, 6 assists...this season...21 points, 4 rebounds...3 assists. -9 points...rebounds and assists cut in half.

4. Um...you're right. Shaq came in out of shape and wasn't voted as an All-Star starter either. Thanks...

5. I'd rather not have to worry about when my All-Star starters court date is thank you.

And Marbury LOVES being in All-Star games...probably because he didn't get put in for the first 5 or 6 years of his career. When he was announced as an Eastern reserve for the game he was throwing his hands up and cheering and everything. I'd love to see his enthusiasm if he got to start.

Either way...this isn't a Kobe thread...and what are you trying to argue? That I DO in fact...want to see Kobe starting? (blinks)

Kobe is already an All-Star Player This year

Yes it is. I've noticed that your sig seems to grow constantly while the length of your posts continues to shrink. And you're making a lot of references to Lebron. Should we expect you soon to complete the transformation and assert that he is King of Basketball?[/quote]

I'm arguing about this one one thing you said:

Does any two guard in the West deserve this spot?

Hope that satisfies you.

1. You might not enjoy it, but he will be a starter won't he, to you he may seem boring, to others his game is awesome.

2. Let me make it simple for you: You said, he pissed his team mates off, and I said...they worked it out, get it now? Point is, there are no problems now are there??

3. C'mon, you're making this too easy, read that post yourself, LAST SEASON  . First of all, this is just the beginning of the season...and second AND most important of all....last season these 2 guys werent on the Lakers squad, eh..whats their name? Dammit, I forgot...oooh oooh it's all coming back....oh yeah Karl Malone and Gary Payton come to mind  .

4. That's not surprising since the person who got voted as a starter was a 7'4/5 Chinese Dude, who first of all was hyped up, so people were curious to see what this Circus Man could do and second (and most important of all) he had half of China voting for him, it was the first time the NBA Balloting was put in chinese wasnt it? Hope that makes some sense to you  .

5. Still doesnt have squat to do about him starting or not  . It's called OFF COURT problems.

Do you get what I'm arguing about now? Not the fact that you want to see him start, but about the remark you made, asking if another 2-guard in the Western Conference deserves to start, you asked and I replied.

Kobe is an out of shape malcontent averaging 20 points, 4 boards and 3 assists. He's also embarrassing the league. That's not worthy of my vote.

I didn't say that no two guard deserves to start. I said what two guard "deserves this spot"...meaning the spot on my ballot. I'm amused by your attempt to argue...but it's asinine. I decide what deserves my vote.

And you seem to have confused the eye roll emoticon with the period button.
