"He was just kind of out of control," Stoudemire said. "I mean, Bruce Bowen's normally under control, but he ran directly into me. I said, 'Man, you're going to get somebody hurt out here. He was like, 'Shut up." I was like, 'Man, I'm just giving you some cautions. You're going to get somebody hurt.' But he wasn't hearing it. . . . Bruce Bowen, who's a two-time champion, should have more class than that."
That sounds as though Bruce Bowen has a screw loose.
And Ginobili kneeing him in the crotch...

personally, I'm not shocked. it's just sad to see that this shit still goes on today. It's pretty obvious that the Mormon church doesn't like black people. I've said this before and I'll say it again: BYU (Brigham Young University, the premier university in Utah) did not allow black people until
1989. And it was because the black people were beating their blond, blue-eyed Mormons on the football field & basketball court. They still live like it's 1900 and not 2007.
Props to Jax for speaking out on it. and also, it's sad to see the media not jump all over this story and milk it dry like they did when he shot his gun in the air in Indy... there's some news that they choose not to report on as well as the fact that he felt "If [he says] too much, it's going to be a problem."

Apparantely the Dallas Mavericks are going to unveil a new logo. Inside sources have leaked the following picture.

Meh. Laugh all you want.
Sun May 13, 2007 1:02 pm
Spurs up 2-1....suns miss too many layups, Duncan dominates, Ginobili & Marion actually decided to play.
NJN also pull one back.
Sun May 13, 2007 1:46 pm
What a terrible day for basketball. My 2 least favorite teams won. I'm so sick of the Spurms winning. If the Mavs were here, the playoffs wouldn't be ending in May.

I LOVE SHAQ on the TNT broadcast!!!
They even showed Barkley taking down Shaq in a fight!!!
Despite being eliminated early, Diesel still got his sense of humour. He's still quotacious.
Sorry for the

, it's just enjoyable.

I wish I still had cable so I could witness this...perhaps it will be on "Youtube" tommorow morning.
Equally enjoyable is the Cavs being down 46-42 at halftime. Hopefully the Nets will win tonight and even up the series at 2-2.
Tue May 15, 2007 12:08 pm
Cavs up 3-1, pretty impressive and a tough win @ NJ.
Even though LBJ couldnt dominate in the 4th like he did the rest of the game, luckily neither could NJ's big 3.
30 points/9 rebounds/7 assists for LBJ, with 56% FG shooting and 10/15 free throws.
I seriously can't wait for game 5, I hope the cavs can make a home stand, I also can't wait for the probably detroit-cavs series!

Suns and Spurs!!
What a great game.
I'm about to have a heart attack, my heart is racing haha. Suns have come up with some amazing defensive plays so far. Just 32 seconds left.
All they have to do now is deny the corner 3 and they'll be good.

Yep, Mormons are definite racists.
This is even in the book of mormon
"...their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a white and a delightsome people."
They very recently changed it to pure and delightsome to make people happy.
think it could just be clarification? well no, here's another scripture.
"And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, and they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."
and another
"And their curse was taken from them, and their skin became white like unto the Nephites."
big surprise eh?
If you remember correctly, the owner of the Jazz is homophobic as well.

W00T! Great game! I'm a bit worried about Amare though. WTF with Horry at the end. Was he trying to take attention off Bowen or...?
Great job by the Suns, this will be a great, 7 game series.
Also, Cavs up 3-1: (series is basically over)
Tue May 15, 2007 3:31 pm
Ahahaha, Spurs lose! *Happy dance*
Pretty poor foul by Horry. Nash is copping a thumping by the Spurs, but he made some beautiful passes.
Tue May 15, 2007 5:44 pm
what a win for the cavs!

Pistons getting their ass kicked...they cut it to 6 then chicago went berserk. It's now a 20 point lead for Chicagoland...
"Every big shot the Bulls make , makes it so much more difficult for the Pistons to come back and win" - George Blaha , Pistons Radio

i think whoever wins the spurs/suns series will win it. wouldn't mind either team; love duncan, love nash. i like the pistions, but i don't feel it from them this year.... maybe because i have no faith in flip or cwebb. maybe they're just a one hit wonder. i guess we'll see, yes.
too bad duncan didn't get more mvp consideration this year - watching the spurs play without him in there is almost painful. yes, they're good in spurts, but it gets really chaotic on both ends. he's much more than the numbers.
p.s. didn't someone predict last year, that duncan would never again average 20 and 10?

Go bulls.
I can't believe it, I would logically presume they will win game 6 at home and force game 7 at detroit after coming back from 3-0.
That series just got a bit more interesting.
Thu May 17, 2007 12:46 pm
Just before this game tips off I'm gonna say my money is on the Suns tonight.
GO SUNS!!!
Thu May 17, 2007 1:20 pm
yup pretty scary game for the spurs @ phoenix. pressure, pressure.
Thu May 17, 2007 2:32 pm
Go Nets.
I can't believe it, I would logically presume they will win game 6 at home and force game 7 at Cleveland.
That series just got a bit more interesting.
Thu May 17, 2007 2:51 pm
Well, I doubt the Suns will win, but they are shocking me. They once had a 16 point lead, which of course didn't last. The Suns will need a miracle.
Thu May 17, 2007 2:59 pm
wow, wow, wow. I wish it was that easy to score 6 points in a quarter and still win. Poor shooting game in Cleveland, NJ will force game 7 after a game in East Rutherford.
Thu May 17, 2007 3:24 pm
Well, every year that the Spurs win, I'm upset. This year is about to finish at the worst season... ever.
This proves that cheating = NBA championships. Spurms will close out Suns in Game 6, and the rest of the way there is practically no competition what with Dallas out and all.
The Spurs are great, and I would totally respect them if they actually played fair basketball.
Congratulations Spurs, you've proven that a NBA title is easier to steal than an election.
Thu May 17, 2007 3:27 pm
Tough loss. I know Steve Nash will get alot of heat for taking that crazy 3 but I think it was the right decision. If it went, tie game. If it went and he got the foul, Suns up 1. That was an oppurtune moment knowing Duncan wasn't going to try block it in fear of a foul call.
Angry Suns beat Spurs in Game 6 then wrap this series up at home.
Thu May 17, 2007 3:31 pm
I wish I could be so optimistic, but how often does the team that most people are rooting for win? About 10% of the time I would predict.
With Amare and company, the Suns barely managed to split the 2 games in San Antonio. I think the anger may actually work against them.
I wish that my backup wasn't such an inferior team. It is hard to see the Pistons beating the Spurs. They are just inferior.
