Wouldn't happen. Laimbeer was an All-Star and one of the most physical players in the NBA and Walton's a Hall of Famer.

I've heard that no deal will be done with the Clippers because they aren't willing to part with Maggette. We want better then Wilcox, so a Clip deal won't happen.

L.A. Lakers would get Ron Artest & Jalen Rose
Raptors would get Anthony Johnson, Scot Pollard, Stanislav Medvedenko

I don't think Artest is worth Odom and George. I'd hope the Lakers could find a way to get someone like Harrison or Foster, even if it means bribes or prostitutes.

Obviously, I'm not claiming to be hearing this from Donnie Walsh personally, but there are definitley ways for things to leak out and for people to have more of an inside track then newspapers.

I don't know exactly how, but there is a guy at Pacers digest who has called many trades before they have happened. He even said during the offseason that Ron was likely to demand a trade this year because he had problems with Rick Carlisle. I know there are tons of fake insiders, but this guy is the real deal, and he's my "source"

that's disappointing. i actually thought you had some sense about the game but really you're just some plaguerizer that's really low brow using other people's posts as your arguments

i don't believe in an infallable "inside source". the media/beat writers do give a lot of misinformation

unless it's the GM announcing the trade, it's all really just speculation
