Very happy that my father gets to see a championship in his lifetime. I knew I would cry wether we won or lost, but I wasn't expecting the sobbing. Being in an environment where you always expect the worst thing possible to happen, and every year you try and make sure you don't get high hopes,to finally call ourselves winners. We did it.

Also very happy people got to see the superstar Kyrie that I have had the pleasure to witness his whole career. Thank you LeBron for not takeing too many idiotic 3's that make me want to drink (heavier).

Still, given some of his proclamations on Twitter, that probably only ranks somewhere in the middle.

Did anyone notice absence of Bogut was huge. It freed Thompson to be abusive and the Cavs were attacking the rim relentless. Frustrated that they played Varejao which ended up hurting them even more, providing -9 plus minus rating in small playing time.

Love was ineffective as a scorer for this game but was rebounding well and aggressive defensively. I found it bit to be of metaphor as Doris Burke interviewed Tristan as the third guy from Cavs over Love. Tristan and not Love is actual part of the Cavs big 3. I am sensing a trade to come.

It's also worth noting this is by far the best Finals performance in LBJ's career. Previously he played 2 good Finals performance out of so many. But this one stands out far more. It was that good. Ask benji for stats.

kevin love played great in game 7. he didnt shoot the ball well but thats it. everything else he did was good for the team and he was a big part of why they won tonight

I don't know if I'd say he played great, but he probably played the best he had of the Finals. Like he had figured out how to fit himself into spots and contribute rather than being lost in the system. And didn't make mistakes.

He also picked up his D quite a bit.

Okay, maybe he did play pretty great.

It actually seemed like, and Love is a great example of this because of the earlier games in the series, the Cavaliers decided to not try and chase the Warriors off the three point line. But instead take away all the rolls and cuts that the Warriors actually secretly kill you with. Warriors didn't get those FTs and layups. I have nothing to back this up, so I'll have to look at the shot charts and such over the last few games.

Anyway just from watching casually it felt like not only did Cleveland abandon conventional wisdom defensively but Lue became a real coach and stopped playing guys if they weren't getting it done just because of what they had done in the past.

I didnt think LBJ was all that great in game 7. It was a long game and there were a few instances when it felt like it was LBJ of Dallas series. Ofc its hard to be great for entire 48 minutes but his teammates were huge on crucial possesions. Until Irving's tie breaking three near the end, I actually thought the game was lost. So Im wronged on two key things here. Irving was huge for the cavs thruout series and lbj's done it with I thought was woeful cavs. Nonetheless it was a great night for a basketball fan, served with quite an intensive last game of the season.

Also Draymond Green deserves some props imo. Aside from being an absolute beast tonight, he actually showed some heart and respect towards his long hated rival LBJ. I wouldn't say he changed my mind entirely about him being a thug but it was quite a moment when he stayed and waited on the court to congratulate LBJ when all of his teammates already exited. Perhaps there can be peace between patented bastard Sauru and me too in another lifetime. Maybe... just maybe.
