Oh, I agree with him, and I'd love to see it mark the beginning of the end for sleeved jerseys. But the NBA has been pretty stubborn about them, despite the criticism.

I get the impression he wasn't actually trying to break out the streetball moves, but hey, it still counts whether you're lucky or you meant to do it.

That's funny. That's a lot of stats for a one single made shot. Imagine your stats showing up as 1 for 1 with BA.

Maybe they didn't count it as a block since it went in?

For what it's worth, Lowry has a block against in the boxscore, and Bazemore also has one block. I didn't see the whole game though, so those could be from other plays.

I always thought that the ball couldn't touch the rim for it to be counted as a block.

The official FIBA Statisticians Manual states:

A blocked shot is charged to a player any time he appreciably alters the flight of an FGA and the shot is missed.

Although the NBA rule may be different.
