I thought the same thing. This roster is something you'd see in 12 yr old kid's dynasty team.

And it makes sense because Prok right now is running the team like a 12 yr old. He thinks he's building the Lakers when reality suggests they're closer to the Knicks of Isiah era.

About JKidd as the HC, when you have competent coaching staff w/ LFrank(the Highest paid Head Assistant Coach?he's paid like more than $1-2M), John Welch(Karl's right hand the past years), Roy Rogers(Big man coach & Kidd's former teammate), Eric Hughes(developmental coach), and they were interested adding Ron Addams(Bulls assistant) after he was fired but the Celts now have him. But, yep I am worried about how would Kidd manage this team, the health, the minutes KG/PP, the chemistry etc. But still I do trust on how BK and Proky manage this team(coming this offseason we were like "oh they're so capped-out, they can't improve anymore" and BOOM! KG/PP/JET/AK/SL/BLATCHE(re) w/ a more complete coaching staff). I won't rule-out/predict anything, but I know I will enjoy this and it's been a hell of a ride "from the start". Enjoy it, haters

No one is hating on the Nets. You just hype them up too much, see every post of yours from the last off-season.

grayflipback, why would anyone hate? LeBron didn't join the Nets. It's the Big Ticket & Truth. We are just enjoying the fact that Kidd is the coach and those to are there, all at the same time.

Nets aren't in that elite level yet to be hated like the Lakers or Heat.
The Nets are more like an amusement. A very expensive amusement.

Grin's right. The Nets need to prove first that they can get out of the first round and win 65+ games before deserving any kind of hate. Right now, it's mocking not hating especially with salary of 3 standard NBA teams combined.

The league should be loving this Proky guy. He's making the league richer like nobody ever did and is proving to be singlehandedly the solution to all financial problems. The league should adore the Nets now. Now, imagine what the refs will do to their opponent.

i for one hope to see the nets win it all this year followed quickly by a pierce and kg retirement. i want to see the nets first beat the heat then finish off the clippers in the finals.

Clippers in the finals is a good one. Against the Nets that would make an amazing story, though.

Oh yep, I know where not that 'Elite' yet like the "beloved" Lakers or the defending champs in Miami. I guess it's fine, let them say "oh they're just like the Lakers last season, Nets are tooo old, KG/PP will play 50 min/game, Kidd will be fired by dwill, Kirilenko will bring gold AK47's w/ Proky's face engraved, etc." no problem, and that doesn't sound like people are hating on the nets, I get it, maybe they're just surprised/worried/concerned lol.

Never hated Peirce since he was w/ Boston, tho KG's one hell of a player, he's a player that you'll love playing w/ then hate when he's on the opposing team type. Watched the press conference and I really appreciated PP's emotion out there, KG word of the day was 'sacrifice'(was talking on how he would love to make Blo the next step, can't wait) and Jet is pretty hype(he might change his tatoo tho ). And BK said in a interview(w/c I forgot where) that there is still 1 player they're targeting and is still available. DJ White was waived yesterday and the 15th spot is vacant. Maybe BK is still looking for a trade?or sign a sg/sf FA(rumors are Alan Anderson) 3&D guy, not sure tho, idk. And it looks like OKC are looking to add Mike Miller. Well, I do trust FO's doing, can't wait.
