The Rockets need a more perimeter oriented shooting guard than a small foward in a shooting guards that scores the majority of his points in the paint.

If they can land Bonzi at the right price, he'll be a nice addition though.

Maciej Lampe (210-C-85, agency: Edge Sports) signed a one-year deal with Russian Dynamo St.Petersburg yesterday. Lampe, last season with NO Hornets (2 games) and Houston Rockets (4 games) is satisfied and wants to prove his basketball skills. "I'm very happy with the decision. I could also sign with Chicago Bulls, but I didn't want to be benched all season, I want to play! People from Russia confirmed that I will play 25-30 minutes per game - and this is good, very good option for me. I'm very happy" - said Lampe.

i guess lampe wasn't exactly a steal when he was drafted since he still isn't getting anywhere

Former Camden High School basketball star Dajuan Wagner has agreed to a two-year contract with the NBA's Golden State Warriors.

Wagner's agent, Cherry Hill attorney Leon Rose, said Wagner would sign with the Warriors and report to their training camp in early October.

Wagner, the state's all-time leading scorer in boys' basketball with more than 3,400 career points, sat out of basketball last season with health issues.

Glad to see Wagner's career is back on track, although he won't get that many minutes behind Baron and a developing Monta Ellis (who reminds me a fair bit of Wagner).

Yea just saw this, great news for him. Best of luck in Golden State

EDIT: No disrespect to Dajuan, but does he wear a stoma? Ive read all over he had his entire colon removed, and wouldn't that require one? But just before I saw a thing that said its good that he doesnt have to wear an external bag... but when I click on the link, the article is no where to be found

well, not really an FA signing, but and FA sighting, sort of.

Dennis Rodman came to my work yesterday (Apparently he comes in a lot but I have not seen him and I've been working there a year!  )
so he rolls up in a big hummer with naked girls spray painted on the side
and then comes in and asks my coworker Alfredo in the video dept for a DVD player.

he comes back later that night to Alfredo and asks how is he supposed to hook up the DVD player to the TV

then Alfredo offers to come to his house to hook it up for him to see if Rodman will tell him where he lives.
Rodman realizes this and points in a random direction and says "I live over there"

dammit I'm so pissed I missed him yet again.

If T-Mac gets what he wants, the Rockets will get some more much needed offensive talent.
