OR BARGNANI, BARGNANI....anyways, I have a strong feeling that the raps will take Bargnani...I really want Morrison or Gay. But I doubt that they will be #1.....

after colangelo's last press conference, it seems to me its all down to Morrison and Bargnani.

EDIT: News flash. Seems that Garbajosa is signing with the Raptors.

I have heard from reports saying hes a sf/pf. If anyone knows anything about this guy, say something.[/url]

hmm...I seemed to get the impression that it's down to Aldridge and Bagnani, Colangelo didn't have the nicest things to say about Morrison's game, especially his defense.

As for the Garbaje-man or whatever his name is, if he's european, my guess is that he's a good shooter, he's a bad defender and he is consistently physically dominated.

But if they sign this guy for like 2-3 million a year, added with Bosh's extension and the #1 pick's contract, I'm afraid that we're suddenly gonna realize that we don't have much cap room left.

You would think so, but he is actually the opposite. He's a great defender, a little undersized at 6-8 PF, he's very physical, and one of the better rebounders. He just got the finals or the regular season MVP, i can't remember, for euro league. I guess this is why people call him the garbage man (i guess he's name also has something to do with it...)

Garbajosa is gonna be the banger that Bosh wanted and the Raptors needed. He's gonna be doing all the dirty work for us.

I hear he's gonna be signed for about 4 mil/year.

We could've trade our first round pick to the blazers for their 4 and 7 and we couldve drafted Bargnani at 4 and Marcus williams at 7

Wont make a comment on the pick until I actually see him play. Before the draft, I was stuck between this guy and Aldridge, see that they picked Bargnani in the end. Hope to see him do well and make NY fans shut the fuck up.

The NY fans were probably booing the Chicago Bulls since the raptors pick was already dealt with and the Bulls were next...

Im not sure of which are you asking (seriously). If your question is addressing why I have written about the NY fans in my post, its because they kept booing the whole announcement of the pick. They were booing everything Raptors. They should shut the fuck up because the Raptors are currently the better team PLUS the Raptors have the better future right now, PLUS we dont have Isiah Thomas making awful GM decisions. If your addressing why NY fans are even at the draft, my guess is that they are hoping that Isiah will actually not screw up with their first round draft pick, which didnt go too well  .

Does anyone have vids of different Raptors draft picks? Not just like REALLY recent ones like Villanueva, Bosh, and Araujo, but also like when Mo-Pete got drafted?

Isiah Thomas' only good quality is drafting good players through the draft.

Isiah Thomas probably screwed up this time. He drafted Renaldo Balkman and the Knicks fans were not happy at all.

I'm pretty happy about our draft choices. Bargnani was the obvious #1, and I like PJ Tucker. He's a great rebounder for his size. I thought that Colangelo was going to go with Denham Brown at #35, but if I'm glad Colangelo picked what was right for our franchaise. I see the Raptors in the playoffs next year. With Colangelo in charge, I have faith.

Well as he said, the price of another first round pick to get a point guard would have been Villenueva, and he didn't want to give him up.

It also sounded like Portland wasn't trading for the extra pick because they wanted to deal up, but they really wanted 2 players, and they got two very good ones.

The pick of Tucker was an excellent one, as he was the Big 12 player of the year, is an excellent defensive player, is agressive and mean, and put up better numbers than his teammate Aldridge.

I think the biggest winners of the draft were Portland, Memphis, New Jersey and Chicago, and the biggest loser were Houston, Boston, Seattle and of course, the Knicks.

Also, has anyone noticed that Bargnani speaks better english than half the college guys? Between Aldridge, O'Bryant, Foye and a couple of the others, I'm not sure how they made it through high school, let alone college.

And one last thing, to David Stern, its pronounced, Rap-ters, not Rap-toors.

Villaneua for a PG? That's BS, he could have just bought the damn pick from Phoenix (Marcus Williams/Rajon Rondo/Jordan Farmar/Sergio Rodriguez) once he saw that everyone are falling down to the 20's. He knew Suns aren't going to spend money.

dont think that boston got much of a sell out, they got sebastion telfair and delonte west as pg.Either one could be traded down the line and they are both young.
