actually Garnett is 6-11 and Bosh 6-10. I never said Bosh is trash but he isn't even near the level that Garnett is on. You said that Garnett's stats look alright and you said Bosh's stats are impressing. If Bosh does ever get to Garnett's level, it will be in a few years.

Wed Nov 15, 2006 7:12 pm

Bosh's stats are impressing grabbing 22 rebounds is amazing. Who ever said Bosh was at Garnett's level? I do agree is will be in a few years. Also Garnett isnt young anymore so he wont be in the nba for much longer. You better start getting used to these young stars because they are the future, and who knows down the track Bosh might average 30ppg 15rpg 5 apg its unpredictable at this stage.

EDIT: also this is nowhere near as good as his mvp year so far.

MVP Stats : 24.2ppg 13.9rpg 5.0apg 1.5spg 2.2bpg

This Year: 23.3ppg 11.2rpg 2.8apg 1.2spg 1.7bpg

His Mvp year beats every single stat this year, so you were wrong about that one.

Those stats aren't counting today's stats.

Also Garnett's stats look alright but hes been better, that just looks like a Garnett kinda game if you know what i mean.

I'm really impressed with Bosh, this guy will take over KG 23 points and 22 rebounds is quite impressive.

Are you joking? His been better? Garnett looks like his in MVP form. 5 Blocks, 3 steals. I doubt bosh could get that. Rebounds are nothing. Blocks and Steals count much more.

Wtf? If you don't get the rebound, the other team will...........

Only way to win a game without rebounding is to make all the shots players hoist up!!

A few random thoughts:

- Didn't get to watch the game, but Bosh had an amazing game, something like 23 points and 22 rebounds. His current rebounding numbers are amazing. I think Rasho has something to do with that (Nesterovic's the only one that can play ANY post defense on the Raptors). Someone check, is Bosh leading the rebounds per a game category yet? He's had other games where he's got 17 and 19 boards.

- I have never paid much attention to Dwyane Wade's defense whenever I get a chance to watch the Heat play, but I finally see where people are coming from about his bad defense. I watched most of the fourth quarter for yesterday's Miami-Denver game, and everytime on defense, Wade just seemed to float around, looked lost on D, not knowing what to do. Though he did have a nice game with 37pts and something like 10 or 11 asts.

On the topic of Bosh and Garnett... the day when Bosh can average these stats AND take the Raptors to the NBA playoffs 7 times or watever in a row is when he has reached KG status.

But to correct someone, I don't think it's a put down to KG to predict that Bosh may one day overtake him because after all, players only get compared to the best of them!

MEM @ SAC

Bill Walton - "You can't come down the lane and use your off-arm to rape the guys' face..."

I know alot of people hate Bill Walton, but he makes watching the NBA funny as well as exciting
EDIT: Rudy Gay just sent Kenny Thomas' shot into the stands

EDIT2: Chucky Atkins > Kobe

Yah Bosh is leading the league in rebounding 13.9 a game. Rasho definitely has something to do with his rebounding stats. Rasho actually boxes out his man and allows Chris to do his thing, not like in the past, where Chris was pretty much the only one consistantly rebounding, so it was 2 big men vs. 1 big man on the glass for Toronto.

Good to see Emeka continues to produce. After everyone forgetting about him after 3 injury ridden seasons, he's really showing his stuff. Keep it up, and he's looking like a serious contender for MIP. I think Emeka is better than Dwight. College pays off.

Statline vs Tim Duncan and the Spurs - 19pts 9rbs 1ast 5stl 5blk 0to

...and Charlotte with the 3 point win in SA

EDIT: Another Bill quote:

Jon Barry: "Bill, you have a prediction for the Ohio State/Michigan Game?"

Bill Walton: "Greg Oden's playing!?"

Fri Nov 17, 2006 5:01 am

Yup.. Emeka is now actually being seen or heard from in the Bobcats game.. He's already drawing attention from fans.. The only problem is that he is injury prone.. And if he gets injured again this season.. He'll be useless and the Bobcats will probably trade him..

Good to see Rudy Gay actually playing defense.. I always thought about him being a stopper since he has hops, length, and quickness..

* Keyon Dooling had a good game and a season high 25 points *

* Sleeper Picks usually show what they're worth in mid season but BALKMAN is really starting to impress in the 1st quarter of the season.. He's Lookin Good!! Charlie V is also looked good last season.. Sleeper picks usually get the fans astonished..

* Balkman scored the highest point in today's game *

i reckon okafor has a better all round game than howard aswell, but dont forget okafor is 3 years older than howard

Fri Nov 17, 2006 4:27 pm

Okafor has a better basketball IQ than Howard, thats why College makes you into a better player.

Fri Nov 17, 2006 4:53 pm

that's highly debatable........there's one thing that's stopping Howard from shitting on everyone else. That's a low post move. He's already the leagues best rebounder, and an excellent defender.

Fri Nov 17, 2006 7:18 pm

The new rules, uptempo play and the new ball is helping players get assists... B Diddy had 18 today. I swear it's got to be the ball... players are actually going in to score more now with the new ball... so perhaps this is a reason that helps explain a rise in assists.

Webber

I don't know who's more unlucky... Webber or the Sixers... I say Philly... Webber's mad for not getting minutes. I don't see any kind of trade going through nor do I foresee any sudden increase in playing time for him. Maybe he should stop complaining and try and gain more time...

Fri Nov 17, 2006 7:25 pm

Webber is useless when he's not scoring. Which is the case now.

Monta Ellis just might be the guy to succeed Gilbert Arenas for GSW. That kid is playing real well this season. Andris Biedrins likewise is doing good, he's fairly mobile for a 7 footer.

Fri Nov 17, 2006 8:26 pm

Andris Biedrins, if he can improve his free throws, could be a good contributor in the Warriors' side...

Fri Nov 17, 2006 9:06 pm

He'll be useless and the Bobcats will probably trade him..

You think the Bobcats would be ready to give up on their future this quick? (There are plenty of high scoring swingmen in the league but hardly any Okafor type players which is why I see Okafor as the Cats future, not Morrison)

Fri Nov 17, 2006 9:14 pm

Yeah Okafor will stay even if he gets injured hes still a good player all they need now is someone with similar abilities to help him in the paint.

Sat Nov 18, 2006 3:58 am

yup u guys are right.. but in my opinion.. if he gets a major injury again like the last two seasons.. OKAFOR will be useless again.. But as of now.. Hes doin extremely well.. And he should've played like that in his rookie years.. But what can i say.. Experience makes a player better in the NBA..

Regarding the CWEBB:

I think so too.. CWEBB should be trying to improve more in his games.. Whether on offense or defense.. Coz he aint gonna get more minutes if he tries to complain.. He should show the coaches that he is worth the minutes.. Even DALEMBERT has much more worth than him as of now.. He should be improving now..

There also won't be a trade occuring coz all the teams are doin fine with the players on their roster right now.. And who the hell would trade for an overpaid (19M) player who has only a few ability to dominate the game.. No actual defense.. Just plain intimidation.. And a few jumpers.. No actual explosiveness.. If it was my team.. I'd trade him to the Bobcats for Okafor or GWallace since they got a lot of cap space.. But i doubt the Bobcats would accept that.. They already enjoy the youth of their team.. I think GWALLACE could be the next Shawn Marion if he LEARNS the unorthodox shot of MArion.. LOL.. Not really.. Just if he learns to shoot.. He could be the next MATRIX..

I mean.. He can rebound both offensively and defensively.. Block Shots.. Steal balls.. Unbelievable Athleticism.. Tremendous Quickness and Speed.. The only downside is that he can't shoot the ball whether threes or perimeter jumpers.. But i believe that he can still improve.. He has a lot of chance to improve while on the BOBCATS since they still don't have a go to guy.. If he learns to shoot the ball... He'd be a great candidate for MIP.. Oh.. He also has to improve his offensive awareness coz he sometimes can't find a good spot for hiself.. He has to know where to be at the right place in the right time..

ANDRIS BIEDRINS:
He has been very agile and alert.. YUP.. He's pretty mobile for a seven footer.. He plays kinda like DARKO MILICIC.. Only DARKO is much more quicker and BIEDRINS is a lot more effective..

MONTA ELLIS:
This kid has loads of potential.. But i think he should be playin the PG spot and not the SG.. He's a lot more effective there.. YUP.. I agree that he may be the next ARENAS..

DWIGHT HOWARD:
He has a lot of potential.. He keeps improving.. He knows where to be on both offense and defense.. YUP.. I think he's better than OKAFOR.. Eventhough OKAFOR is a lot more mature than DWIGHT.. DWIGHT just simply knows how to own the paint with his quickness and power and explosion.. While on the other hand.. OKAFOR lacks quickness and dominance in the paint.. He has the power.. But not as powerful as the MIGHTY DWIGHT.. Hey.. Think i found a new nickname for DHOWARD.. Howwa bout this:

***DWIGHT "THE MIGHT" HOWARD***

I think its pretty awesome..

DWIGHT THE MIGHT HOWARD will be the next AMARE STOUDEMIRE

Just don't get injured.. I put my money on ya big fella..Heehhee..

Sat Nov 18, 2006 12:10 pm

for th3e sake of humanity pass the ball to Rasheed, no one can stop him. Otherthan that, continue getting raped.

Sat Nov 18, 2006 1:36 pm

Pistons win 100-91.

Shaq, out 4-6 with knee surgery.

Sat Nov 18, 2006 2:44 pm

Miami got killed again at home tonight. What a way to start the season, 3-5 and now Shaq's gone.

So far in the season, Emeka is looking really good. I knew he was playing pretty good, but I just checked out his stats so far and Im pretty impressed. Over time though Dwight will become the better player, all he needs is a better post game and a better basketball IQ. Though it looks as though he has worked on his footwork abit in the offseason.
DWIGHT THE MIGHT HOWARD will be the next AMARE STOUDEMIRE

I'd take Dwight over Amare right now, and any day.

Sat Nov 18, 2006 5:44 pm

Amare is on his way back with 23 points and 10 boards tonight.

Sat Nov 18, 2006 5:45 pm

just a quick question:

Is Dwight The Might Howard Bigger than Amare?
