I was watching the game and Walt Frazier was talking about how Curry's rebounding performance was impressive and that hes really improved, had it not been vs the Grizzlies, or if hes been doing it for more than just the season opener then I could understand. How about last nights stellar 2 rebounds? lmao

haha.. curry teased us Bulls fans with these type of games. i still root for the guy plus i've always wondered if he could succeed not playing in his hometown/in the Bulls system. but going to media hell doesn't seem like a place for him either

What happened to Channing Frye Knicks fans? I heard he's bulked up considerably but it seems to have regressed his play.

His bulk-up training was composed of the Eddy Curry "muscle" gain system.
Or Zeke hates him.

I guess he played under Larry, no worries though its only the 2nd week of the season he'll improve.

There's a right way to rebuild, then there's the Isiah/Dolan way....

He might go through the same problems Jermaine O'Neal had when he bulked up. Jermaine got a lot bigger in the last few seasons and his play suffered. He was still a very solid player and still got his numbers, but he was a finesse player who tried to bang more and it resulted in injuries and steps backwards from his 03-04 season. He has slimmed down again this year and looks fantastic, you guys should hope that he figures this out quicker then Jermaine did and slims down earlier.

Its looking like Lees play as of late is slowly making Frye the odd man out.

I really hope the Knicks play better so that they won't give Greg Oden to Chicago. That would be terrible for any non-Chicago fan.
However, at the current rate, I can see it happening...

I haven't been following the Knicks like I used to for obvious reasons, but what ever happened to Trevor Ariza did we trade him?

Awesome game for Balkman, 18 and 7 plus 2 blocks. At least that's one thing you Knicks fans can be happy about

compare to curry 6rebounds in 32min (lee played 28)

lee is a hustler on the boards

what i dont understand is steve francis. he is averaging less than 10points a game ( had 4 this game). Marbury isn't much better at 12points either. Those overpaid bums need to go, they can't even score like they known for

I agree these guys got to go, our team will be much better without them. They're used to ball hogging now that they can't do that they can't seem to get their game straight.

Steve Francis said that he was happy not to hog anymore and just wants to help his team win... not sure if a low 9 ppg is any indication of that but he is shooting .460 from the field so that's not too low. Marbury is a different case... he's not scoring as much becuase of his low .380 field goal percentage...

The thing is, I have a problem with what Isiah Thomas is actually telling his players... do they have any concrete strategy of play? Who are their main scoring options... does it change from game to game?

This kid is amazing he's averaging over 8 boards a game and only 23 min.
I think Isiah should move him into the lineup, but then why ruin a good thing.

Forget playoffs, this season should be about developing young players. Give them as much PT as possible. They play like the Knicks should play. Build around them and ship the dead weight out(Marbury & Francis in particular).

Frye's not the one we needed a replacement for. He's in a slump, it's not unusual for sophomores to have this as far as I know.

He really needs to stop actling like a pussy. Him and Marbury must be related, both of them have been known to be shot happy pg's but once they get on the same team they both want to be more team oriented and score 9 points a game. 9. And its not even like either of the two are doing good at it, averaging 4 assists a game each. They need to step up because honestly they could be our best weapons on offence. Q leads the team in points, and its probly the first time hes ever lead his team in ppg, with only 18 per. But honestly, looking for Marbury and Francis to be weapons could be a wild goose hunt just like the whole weapons of mass destruction thing. They need to get rid of them, as much as I love Balkman I wish Isiah had picked up Marcus Williams. Trading Marbury and Francis, leaving them with two young guys at the point. Shit, Marcus is having a better season than the both of them combined. Sad. A few years ago I would have picked Francis over any point guard anyday, but now I'd rather have Marko Jaric, and I hate that guy. lmao
