Bulls vs Cavs and Thunder vs Lakers tomorrow, the former on ESPN at 10 AM and the latter on One at 12:30 PM (that's AEST). I'm looking forward to that doubleheader, if tomorrow is the Bulls' last game of the season (and yes, I know saying "if" is being generous) then I'd like to see it no matter how it goes down. Thunder/Lakers should hopefully be another good one.

May 17th, 5:30 AM: Magic/Celtics Game 1
May 18th, 11:00 AM: Lakers/Suns Game 1
May 19th, 10:30 AM: Magic/Celtics Game 2
May 20th, 11:00 AM: Lakers/Suns Game 2
May 23rd, 10:30 AM: Magic/Celtics Game 3
May 24th, 11:00 AM: Lakers/Suns Game 3
May 25th, 10:30 AM: Magic/Celtics Game 4
May 26th, 11:00 AM: Lakers/Suns Game 4

The pre-game show will also precede all the ECF games on ESPN and the lottery will also be shown starting at 10 AM, before Game 2 this Wednesday.

I gave it a shot, but it just wasn't happening. Recorded it and I'll watch it later, but spoiled the result when I checked the NLSC's Twitter this morning.

Why are we getting ESPNEWS instead of Shootaround?

I've been very pleased with One HD showing the entire Western Conference Finals. Also, as a Lakers fan, cannot complain with the coverage in Aussieland as they have shown most of the team's playoff campaign... a bit of a shame for fans of other teams as they haven't really shown much of them.

Right now, it's great if you're a Celtics or Lakers fan. For anyone wanting more competitive games - or Lakers/Celtics haters - the ability to watch both Conference Finals series in the entirety is turning out to be a far less appealing prospect than first hoped.

Isn't going to get any better Andrew, if Lakers keep rolling they will take Boston down in 4.

I guess that's always a possibility, though after counting out the Celtics in two straight series I'm hesitant to count them out from at least being competitive in a Finals series with the Lakers.

I'm hoping for a Celtics-Suns Finals with Phoenix winning. I don't want Lakers to win, they're just rolling at the moment. I hope Suns can take them down in 7 though :P

Lakers Suns on One HD tomorrow. Loving it! :)

I hope they have Game 6 on if it's on Sunday. :)

I don't see why they wouldn't, they've shown the whole series so far.

Just didn't know if it would interrupt their Sunday broadcasting... dunno what they would usually show on a Sunday morning... maybe Red Bull racing.

But yes, they will show it.

Were the NBA Finals on One HD last year? My memory fails me...

From memory ESPN had coverage. I think One HD might've shown them on a one day delay or not at all.

They were on One on a one-day delay. They're being advertised for this year as well by both channels, presumably with the same setup.

ESPN will have the live coverage as the Finals are on ABC in the States. Better than nothing if you've only got One HD. ;)

Is that smiley a bit tongue in cheek seeing that I won't get to see the Finals live without going to the pub? :(

Hey, I want something for my $83 a month!

But in all seriousness, better a one day delay than nothing at all, right?

I was only joking man. It just pains me I can't watch it live unless I go to the pub... sucks that it's in the middle of exam block for me! :(

As a Bulls fan, are you enjoying the coverage though?

Sure, I don't expect the Bulls to be shown that much but it's nice to get to see a few games a season. The last couple of games they showed during the regular season were Bulls wins so I certainly enjoyed that. When it's not the Bulls playing I'd prefer as much variety as possible along with marquee matchups and between the two channels, I'm fairly satisfied with the selection for the most part.
