Bargnani is a black hole at SF. It might be his best position on offense, but he is slow and will get torched when he's on defense. The last playoffs series of the Raptors vs Magic, Bargnani was playing sf in Game 1. The Raps would get torched on the perimeter on that game.

Another game with Bargs at SF is this.

Bargs is really bad on defense. He seems not to move his feet very well. Uncoordinated and heavy footed. I hope the Raps could trade him and Colangelo's sidekick to New Jersey. On offense, when he's hot, fans think he's God.

That win over Spurs was a surprise, but more surprisingly, Timmy D came off from the bench(only 2nd time in his career?) and played a good basketball despite not being fully healthy.

Edit: My bad. It seems, Timmy D is healthy, but the reason coming off from the bench isn't known.

Bosh becomes all-time scoring leader. Thank God it's no longer VC.

If he stays, he will be the greatest Raptor ever.

The win over San Antonio wasn't too surprising. Since the win over NJ, the Raps have been looking much better together. When it comes to the game against the Pierce, Garnett and Rondo-less Celtics, I wasn't too surprised with the outcome (Though I was pretty pissed, hehe). The Celtics roster has hardly been tampered with in the last three years, so the chemistry is there. They know how to play together. Also, the Raps seem to underestimate games against unhealthy teams. Not just the Celtics, but the Spurs without Duncan and Parker and the Magic without Lewis and Carter. These are championship contending teams, they're not going to give up without a fight.

Also, I'm starting to think that Calderon should come off of the bench for the rest of the season. Jack has been doing great since being inserted into the starting lineup and brings some much needed defense to the starting five. Plus, Calderon was always better off the bench.

Anyway, I'm not expecting a win against Orlando on Wednesday, since Toronto has been struggling against them in all of their last three meetings.

Oh and congrats to Bosh becoming the All-Time Points Leader for the Raptors. :applaud:

for one game he was good. his defense on Duncan in the 4th qtr was why the Raptors won

the raps squeezed out a 5-point win thanks to the refs that wanted to be tim donaghy. the margin should have been about 10 points. at one point bargnani comitted 3 fouls in 2 minutes, and the magic were 14-0 on free throw attempts in the fourth quarter.

You got it wrong. Donaghy only betted games, he never manipulated them. FBI investigated all of his calls and didn't find anything fuzzy.

But Bargs got screwed a little there. I think Raptors did a bad job in the 4th themselves too, didn't attack the basket. They could really use Demar in the 4th imo, but Triano never plays him in crunchtime.

After watching parts of the first half of the game against the Cavs it didn't take long for me to remember why I stopped watching as much NBA as I used to. The part of the game that I've watched hasn't been totally awful, but some of these calls they make or calls they miss are just hard to believe they even called (or didn't call once again). I'm really getting sick of some of these superstar calls, and I'm not even a huge fan of either team, so i'm really not being biased.

Can't believe Toronto is only a half game behind Miami. In fact, I think it's only a matter of time, Toronto takes over the 5th seed. To make the matter worse, Charlotte is playing like 0.500 team while Miami is playing more like 0.400 team. :shake:

i've had it with all the insults the refs are giving the raps. 3 technicals on one quarter for the raps. plus lebrick letravel james can't be touched because he is made of glass. can't stand 5 feet away from him or get called a foul.

I haven't seen much of the Raptors so far, but I gotta agree. Belinelli and Jack were both awsome, Belinelli hit some amazing shots. As I mentioned in the prediction thread that they have been great on Sundays lately, winning 6 of their last 7, including some big teams. I guess they know how to abuse those early games.

Jose really anchoring the second unit and getting everyone involved. Even a jumpshooter who can't shoot (Antoine Wright) is getting into the mix. Knowing the Raptors luck they're probably going to have their 5 game winning streak snapped by the Pacers after the home and home.

Oh yes, I almost forgot.

Ball.

Speaking of jumpshots, I'm seeing changes in Demar's jumpshot. Early on in the season there was a crapload of body movement and a LOT of arms in his shot. Recently, he seems to have used his legs more and his arms less. Though his 3-point shot still has that huge arm fling. Bosh has been a monster and got Eastern Conference player of the week which is nice.

It really looks like Jose is going to be dealt to another team. Rumours from RealGM right here

He's my all-time favourite Raptor.

I like Jose but he just hasn't been that good as a starter and it's probably waste of talent to bring him off the bench, so I wouldn't mind him gone. He has great passing skills and spot up jump shots, but really lacks penetration skills to break down the defense. I think his style of basketball is too predictable at times. Another Raptor I think a fail is Hedo. He's obviously 3rd or 4th option, but isn't being that efficient at it.

heartbreaking loss to LA. Kobe did it again. Hedo is really starting to decline and what's left is to hope that he performs much better in the playoffs.

Lamar Kardashian needs to stfu. http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-lak ... 8764.story

And that laker commentator calling jose, "bargnani" is as bad as matt devlin.

and when a fucking orange ball is right in front of you, it's not a baseball game you're watching, so don't take it as souvenir.

The Denver loss with Melo hitting the buzzerbeater, I was surprisingly emotionless. I can't figure out if it was because it was such a heartbreaking loss or if I just became so use to this kind of crap happening. And tonight against Miami was crap too.
