I believe everyone knows the time stops when the ball passes the net.

What about the FIBA rules? First 3 quarters are running time, then at the last 2 minutes of the 4th, the clock stops on every made shot.

Who designs the uniforms? adidas, the teams, or do they do it together?

I was thinking in the playoffs and came up with a question...

If a team loses a player on the playoffs to a serious injury, is the team available to call a player from their D-League assignment team? Or the team is just limited to the playoffs roster named prior to the start of the postseason?

Why do players always have to grab/touch the ball after a free throw?

Force of habit for me, even if the ball goes in I want the other guys to know that I was in position for the board and if it missed, that shit was mine.

They've done away with the playoff roster restriction they once had, so they could rotate someone in from their inactive roster if someone goes down with injury.

But they aren't in the inactive roster, they are on the D-League squad. That would work too?

What's the longest streak of consecutive 30-point games by someone who is not Wilt Chamberlain?

Georges post in the Lakers thread made me think (shocking), what has been the most competitive first round so far (most games in the first round, there should probably be 2 answers, pre and after whenever the 7 game series came)?

Why did the league changed the first round format from best-of-5 to best-of-7?

When did the 82-game schedule took place?

Whoops, I see that I answered "when" and not "why" for the first question. I don't think we have to look any further than shadow's answer for that one. Well, I guess we could go with this image:

 The Celtics dropped 34 in a row when I was playing Live 2003. I was trying to see if they broke a record. Apparently, they just missed it.
