This week and next aren't exactly the pick of the crop. Warriors/Mavericks this Thursday followed by Celtics/Pistons on Saturday (would be better if the Pistons weren't struggling) then next Thursday it's Cavs/Knicks and next Saturday it will be Warriors/Suns. If they're all competitive games it won't be too bad and there's always the possibility that we'll have the spectacle of LeBron pouring in 50+ against the Knicks. To be fair though, there aren't too many matches on those days I'd desperately rather see and the other half of the doubleheaders that won't be shown the next two Saturdays don't strike me as being significantly more interesting either.

At least Monta Ellis is back from injury. GSW is an improved team with him on the court. Also Shaq's games now days are getting interesting as he claims he's never felt this good in a few years. Apparently he's got this new medical crew for him which is working out great for him. I look forward to see them playing well and getting some Ws for their teams. The Suns should at least make a playoff this year or it'll suck big time.

BIG NEWS FELLAS!

The NBA on Ten HD is starting this Monday before the Super Bowl!
First game is the ABC clash between Cleveland and Detroit @ 6:30 AM. Wooo!

Full Schedule for ESPN and Ten HD (NetTen (One) ) until the playoffs here:
http://www.nba.com/schedules/internatio ... edule.html

We get the ABC game every Monday morning and a TNT game every Friday afternoon starting with LA @ Boston this Friday at 12:00pm. Even better is the fact that they're showing all of the double headers from March 13

No Nuggets games for the rest of the year on ESPN, but luckily 2 on Ten HD.

I'm Pumped- i dont know how the Monday morning game will suit you guys, but there's replays at night like with ESPN, but a little later... Dones't matter for me with Foxtel IQ HD, i'll be recording the full thing in HD ready to go when i get home. :o

Nope, you have to get Foxtel IQ2 HD but if you just go from Foxtel IQ to Foxtel IQ2 HD and dont change any channels (like dont buy ESPN HD and Fox Sports HD) it's the exact same...

Foxtel IQ box per month= $10
Foxtel IQ2 HD box per month= $10 (includes 7 HD, 9 HD, 10 HD, SBS HD, ABC HD)

Only thing is the installation fee, but we got half price on ours, i'm sure you could get a deal...

Overall for us it's $10 more for us cause we got the HD Sports package too, which is $10 a month...

Wow awesome news, and already some Nuggets games look like channel 10 became my new favourite channel. I'm so glad they decided to broadcast a bit earlier rather than startin in April. :D

Man oh man, how long have we been waiting for this. Here's hoping they can keep this going for a few years atleast this time. Every double header, amazing stuff!

I'll be waking up for this in the spirit of things :D

one question, i just checked my the hd guide on the tele and it shows HD demonstration up until the superbowl. Maybe they have got to update it still? I'm fucking hoping this new deal isn't something Queensland miss out on, christ wouldn't that be a tease.

It probably just hasn't been updated yet. My local listings claim it'll be on tomorrow morning. We'll know in less than six hours. ;)

Could be 5:30 Brisbane time since you guys don't observe daylight saving and it's listed as being 6:30 Sydney DST.

Yeah, that's true actually because I forgot my phone lists times at DST.

5:30 am, no deal. :) At least it means the replay is at 10 pm. :)

Yes, I can see the replays being very handy for most much as they are with Foxtel.

Doesn't seem to be available in Newcastle as yet, despite what the local TV guide maintains. :(

Yeah, i don't have it either in Townsville :(

If it were 5:30 i'm sure it would still be on, hmm. Seriously going to blow if we don't get these games but ah well, we'll see.

For what it's worth, i get Ten Southern Cross HD, which i assume is just for like Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and shit. We still have the superbowl scheduled but yeah, no nba. We just have that annoying promo loop showing Australian landscape 24/7. Hopefully we get to see some of these games this year...
