Dont you just like how Showbe can get any foul call he wants so later in the game you cant play D and are forced to give him space? He can push off all he wants but If you play D you get a foul called on you.

Of course Kobe is gonna get every foul call, hes Kobe, hes a superstar. Stern is making the superstars unguardable. A better example is Wade if doesnt get any foul calls he would only average around 19-20ppg. Its not like the Jazz are the only one to fall victim to the refs, it happens to every other team you just gotta deal with it instead of bitching about something that probably wont ever change.

Fri Dec 01, 2006 4:22 pm

In simple, Stern is ruining the game.

Fri Dec 01, 2006 5:03 pm

lol

Yeah, blame Stern for the loss. There you go

Fri Dec 01, 2006 9:31 pm

lol stern doesn't play the game.... the players do.... and utah found a way to win when redd dropped 57 on them so what's with all the bull now?

No Shit? Tell us more Professor Einstein. What we are saying is Stern fixes it so the superstar players get more calls. He can make more money that way you know.

I wish the Jazz went back to losing so I could call you a moron AND laugh at your team.

Sat Dec 02, 2006 5:06 am

Easy on the language. Have you thought that maybe superstar players get more calls because they're highly respected veterans who know how to play the game? Sure, I know refs sometimes give easy passes, but I wouldn't put the blame solely on Stern. Maybe the refs could be to blame as well.

Some other people use the F word all the time but I take some heat when I swear for the first time?

Sat Dec 02, 2006 5:48 am

Hi, I'm just here to gloat...

In your face, muahahaha.

Carry on.

Sat Dec 02, 2006 5:59 am

^^ You're from Utah, you're not allowed to use profanity in the forums.

Sat Dec 02, 2006 6:07 am

JoeJamm, thats enough. Any real Utah fan knows that Stockton and Malone got calls for decades. Maybe not at the level of Jordan, but they got plenty of calls. I'm not saying they didn't earn them though. Stockton and Malone are two of the best to every play the game at their positions. The were a model of consitancy, sportsmanship, and toughness.

Sat Dec 02, 2006 6:17 am

See, a real fan. Not an arrogant little fanboy.

Sat Dec 02, 2006 6:59 am

Deron Williams for MIP, anyone? The guy hasn't been getting too much recognition despite averaging a ton of assists and being money from the field.

What I am trying to get across is noone should be getting any crap calls. The fouls they call nowadays are just pathetic.

Naw, I don't care if you say "no shit" but when you take it further by saying, "Tell us more Professor Einstein," on something so insignificant, it's a little excessive to the point of rudeness.

No need to make it a big deal, so carry on :)

The fouls they call nowadays are just pathetic.

It's part of the "hands-off the perimeter player" rules of the NBA. The players just have to live and play with it. Same as the way Jordan, Stockton or Malone played against the defenses of the 90's NBA.

If you look in the MIP thread we had for awhile before the season started this was my hope/prediction. And if he keeps this up: i see nothing stopping it from happening (well except for yao going from 18 ppg career to 25.7, but once again: 'if he can keep it up' situation)

Everyone just chill out.... the jazz are a great team but since they are young they are inconsistent and that's ther only problem now. But even if they lose out the season i'll still be a fan!! like always

Sloan gets his 1000th win. Jazz beat Mavs, and now have best record in the league again. I keep waiting for this team to come back down to earth, especially Boozer, but they are playing solid. I would say Boozer has to be in the early running for MVP.
