Elementary school insults? I called you an idiot because your statement was in fact idiotic. Don't even try to defend it, saying that it's not a big deal is flat out moronic. Even for a guy with 2Pac as his avatar.
I'm not trying to discredit Wilt genius. What's his 55 rebound game got to do with Kobe scoring 81 at all? Either form some half decent opinions or don't bother posting, it's that simple. Go and read the article I posted about Wilt's 100 game and tell me it wasn't the way you pictured it to be.

Yea all because someone has their own opinion doesn't mean he is being a bitch
Kobe's performance has been talked about enough, why some people just can't let it rest? If Kobe's team don't make the playoffs then what will that 81 point performance do then? Like I said before, I gave him his props and he impressed me, but its over with now. He won't do it again, its a once in a lifetime thing.

I never said I didn't think it was a great game... I said it was a good performance here several times.... I just don't think you can give Kobe more credit. Even after reading your thread.
Second best is pretty damn good.

It's got nothing to do with having your own opinion, you were whinging about t-shirts being made about it. I thought Napoleon Dynamite was a shit movie but there's still t-shirts made for it. Of course people should probably shut up about it by now, but whining about t-shirts is lame.

Thu May 04, 2006 3:27 pm
yeah, that post was the funniest one i've seen in some time. I still hate kobe too.
Thu May 04, 2006 3:27 pm
So you still hate him.. Why's that?
Thu May 04, 2006 4:05 pm
Probably me. I've made a 180 degree turn...im a kobe fan now.
Nice avatar..and an even nicer post.
Nice backflip.
Pancitcooker, dont even bother man. These guys can't explain why they hate kobe without contradicting themselves or without making the soap opera that surrounds the game bigger than the game itself. It's sad.

Okay this is coming from a diehard Laker fan...
I AM a Laker fan...I am NOT a Kobe fan....(as most people who are familiar with my Dynasties...I've kept Shaq on the roster) But obviously I can't hate him as he's the reason why the Lakers are tasting success right now.
'till this day I still feel that's it was his ability to walk without compensation to the Lakers that made Dr. Buss create the breakup of the Phil/Shaq/Kobe dynasty...no one here has mentioned or reference anything about Jackson's book The Last season (which I have completed from cover to cover ) which tells of Jeannie Buss explaining to Jackson that because of how young Kobe is AND how much of a star he is, it'll pretty much sell out the Arena for the next 15 years. (Whereas with Shaq who we are now seeing a noticeable decline in abilities)
HOWEVER, I think that year off from the playoffs really did give Kobe a realization of just how fortunate he was coming into a winning organization...as he never had to experience the pain of a lottery season. AND I really feel that one year off has done Jackson a world of good and comeback fresh. ALSO, the Shaq/Wade tandem...that in itself revitalized the EAST. Do you really think Jersey or Detroit could spark up the same excitement that Miami's doing for the East?
But without that breakup came opportunities to land Smush Parker, Bynum, Odom, etc.
...my dislike for Kwame Brown though....whew....where's that ever-running thread again?
Thu May 04, 2006 6:40 pm
Did anybody see his comments after game 5? wow, he tried so hard to be Shaq and attempted to give reporters a laugh... "Raja Bell? Who is this guy?"
and this after him trying so hard to be Jordan pumping his fist after game 4...
don't make me vomit, please Kobe.
Thu May 04, 2006 6:52 pm
No,Q, please. Kobe is trying to be shaq becuase he is inside Raja Bell's (

) head? Then he's trying to be Jordan becuase he made a game winner? Lol what next? He's trying to be Magic becuase he is wearing a lakers uniform?
I can just imagine you as an announcer: "Kobe gets the rebound, i hate this guy, he's trying to be like Rodman so much. Now he's bringing the ball up, this is pathetic, he's sooo imitating John stockton. Now he dunks the ball, who does he think he is? Dr J?"
Thu May 04, 2006 7:01 pm

For pumping his fist? Sheesh, MJ must have a copyright on it. Is he also blinking at similar intervals to Jordan?
Thu May 04, 2006 7:06 pm
And the breathing, dont forget that. I remember someone wrote an article about how Kobe breathes very similar to Jordan. What is he trying to accomplish by doing that?
Thu May 04, 2006 7:51 pm
you mean kobe should quit breathing oxygen because MJ does?
No hate for Kobe here, just love. Partly because too many people are hating on him for no good reasons. Not my favourite player, but the best one I admit.
Thu May 04, 2006 7:54 pm
I hate Kobe. I never liked him and thought that LA won too much. Then he got real cocky and I started to really hate him. He shoots to much, ballhog.
No love here for KB8.

I'm not a Kobe fan after he roasted Toronto's pitiful defence, but I still have respect for how well he has played.

I think roast is an understatement.

Please, don't do that. My heart can still barely take it when "Kobe", "Raptors" and "81 points" are used.
