I'd pay up to $250 a month if they had an NBA channel.

Agreed. More NBA, less Scrabble championships. Exciting as they are.

Hey, who says I'm being sarcastic? More Scrabble! More Tractor Pulling! It's exactly why I cough up $76 per month.

I believe Optus used to have their own service but it's basically part of Foxtel now, with the only "Optus" customers being existing ones that haven't fully changed over their subscription.

The All Star Game is listed in the program for Monday...

Nice...haven't seen it online yet (only All-Star Friday & Saturday) but hopefully that's the case. :)

Wouldn't you know it? I finally get a Thursday off (Australia Day) and there's no live game on. It's a conspiracy, I tell you! ;)

just drink like the rest of us

on the thread topic, I am once again contemplating getting Foxtel Digital....I think it's like $73 or $74 per month with ESPN, MTV etc....I've now convinced my sister to cover $24 per month (she didn't want to pay anything before), so now I would only be out of pocket $50 per month (or $12.50 per week, or half a bottle of very dodgey bourbon or a quarter of a bottle of good bourbon)....

if I can get installation for like $30 or whatever then I might do it....although the problem is that you get locked into a 2-year contract....normally I wouldn't have a problem with this, but I'm almost 100% sure that I will be moving out of my house in about a year's time, so here comes my question: Does anyone know the cost of transferring Foxtel Digital to a new place? I obviously don't want to pay a full-price installation. Just thought I'd ask here to see if anyone knew before I got in touch with Foxtel to ask them.

Cheers for any help

Scrabble Championship > Reality TV.

X, best bet would be ring Foxtel and ask them.

The best channel on Foxtel Digital is the EXPO channel, I put a reminder for whenever Miracle blade is on.

Anyways, I'll be sure to catch the Spurs vs. POrtland game

its costs $100 to relocate....although im not sure if you can do it yourself, that would be sweet. I have to move house as well, problem is, my dish only needs to move 10m so i wanna do the job myself.

cheers Matt....$100 is do-able....I just have to get around to calling them....I have conveniently taken Friday off work (see Australia Day for reasoning) so I should chase that up and hopefully be up and running before All-Star Game 8-)

I know it's already been mentioned elsewhere but since we're using this thread to rate/review what ESPN Australia is doing as well as update each other on the schedule...

For those who don't already know, ESPN Australia will be showing the entire All-Star Weekend this year live (with the exception of the celebrity game) including the All-Star game itself on Monday, starting at 12 pm AEST. The on-screen guide confirmed the rumours...barring some sort of flip-flop. So I'd say that brings their coverage up from last year though they're still suffering from a lack of variety.
