You forgot 5 steals, and he shot 11-20 too :D

HEY FGREP!!!! How bout Bdiddys game the other night huh buddy?!!

Thu Apr 07, 2005 2:32 pm

He was killing it, and has been since he got there, they're like 13-7. How's it going man...

7 Game Win Streak

Won 10 of last 11 (Y)

Thu Apr 07, 2005 6:24 pm

What's the point? They should play for the draft pick now...

The team needs a winning culture, not another draft pick.

Fri Apr 08, 2005 6:53 am

yep, they're trying to build some momentum for next season. j-rich's stats are down since mr diddy's arrival :o

...as much as they win, they aren't going to be even close to the playoffs, so why not start winning, and have the players have the winning mentality going into the next season?

That should have been expected. he has to share the load , now.

I believe that is for the best. Remember MJ? He averaged 37.1 ppg in his 2nd or 3rd season I believe, and the Bulls were crap. Then he 'fell' to 30ppg with the advent of Pippen, and everything turned out for the better in the end, no?

On the plus, here's something interesting about the current and future state of Californian basketball: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/s ... id=2032059

i get what you're saying, dweaver, but that's a poor example as davis and jrich are nowhere near jordan's level and the bulls at that time and the warriors now aren't in the same situation either.

but i'd really like to see how that duo does next year, when davis' honeymoon is over

Fri Apr 08, 2005 7:01 pm

Oh.. not only a duo.. its a trio! Diddy, JRich and Biedrins! (Y)

Fri Apr 08, 2005 8:52 pm

this certainly is an interesting situation. They need a big guy for next season though, Foyle just doesnt meet the standard.

Warriors certainly have a very good backcourt. Richardson can score at will, and Davis when healthy is a top 3 PG who gets it done on both ends.

Good times are ahead.

Fri Apr 08, 2005 9:11 pm

Andris Biedrins should be a suitable big man!

Suns 119
Warriors 127
Final

Warriors 8 Game Winning Streak, 11 out of last 12 games are wins

Sat Apr 09, 2005 5:27 pm

they just hurting their lottery pick with this late season run though if you really think about it so technically all this winning is no good when you are not going to have a chance at making the playoffs.

It was stated before in this thread: There hasn't been a winning mentality in Oakland for the past 10 years, so going into the off-season feeling confident about next year's chances is more important than a top 5 pick in a draft class that is by no means the class of 2003...

All this is good barring BD does not blow a knee or any obscure muscle mid-season,cause then everybody would have preferred the top 5 pick

I love that the Warriors are not giving up, were getting a Sneak Preview of next season.

heh, I thought it was funny...

I cant...its finally the warriors time to have something good happen...and baron davis is just that. Playoffs next year.

Tue Apr 12, 2005 10:05 am

To the Warriors fans.. I believe ur team will do quite well next season... as long as Baron can elude the back problems... (Y)

Sat Apr 16, 2005 7:22 am

We're like the suns team, we had all that talent, but never had a true PG to bring out that talent.
