No, but we understand why you consider LBJ as the GOAT

Actually, pretty sure he doesn't believe that. In fact I'm almost positive he has said otherwise. His recent ramblings that accompany giant photos of LeBron is merely trolling. That's quite obvious.

However, in regards to Dirk. I take Dirk over Garnett, however I consider Barkley the greatest PF of all time.

I realise there's some controversy in regards to whether he's a power forward or centre - he's been listed as both - but if we're going to consider him a four, then Tim Duncan would be my pick for the best all-time at that position.

Accolades wise, yes. Player wise, not in my opinion. I still have Barkley ahead.

It's funny about the PF position though, because it's probably the most interesting position to debate. A lot of good choices, including Dirk, Karl Malone, Kevin McHale, Tim Duncan, Charles Barkley, etc. Magic Johnson has kind of solidified the spot at the best PG of all time, not many people debate that, Jordan as the best SG of all time, etc. Small Forward is still debateable, same with Center.

Small forward is a debate? Are you classing LeBron as a two?

I still see quite a few people state that Bird is the best SF of all time, including myself. It's actually more common than you might think.

When someone posts about Larry Bird, you will see a slew of comments stating that Larry Bird is the best SF ever. I have my reasons, and they resonate with many of the reasons I have seen on social media as well. I take the best Bird over the best LeBron, easily.

Not sure how Bird, who won 3 titles in his first 7 seasons, and who's all around game was off the charts, could not be in the conversation.

My top 3 all time are Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.

bird at his peak is every bit as good if not better than lebron. lebron however has been outstanding for such a long period of time its hard to say he is not the top sf of all time. longevity is not the end all be all but it does factor in

magic
jordan
lebron
duncan
kareem

imo

As crazy as it might sound, if all those goats actually played today, I would be tempted to take Kobe over Jordan.

barkley took iverson over jordan so by comparison your selection is not that horrible i guess

Could Jordan have won with scrubs that Iverson had against Kobe's Lakers in year 2001? I don't think so.

iverson should not even have been there. the league put him there

Iverson had the biggest heart ever though, any knowledgeable ball scientist knows this stuff.

Kobe is Jordan. Jordan is Kobe.

Right. You can't even tell who's Jordan or who's Kobe. Thanks youtube.

For the finale...

How many times did Kobe have to pull up for poor mid range jumpshots while Jordan had clear lane all the way to the basket, because of zone defense.

One of my favorite in game dunks of all time. Getting suspended in the air, throwing it down with authority.

I remember that one. Classic Vinsanity.

Cold-blooded moment from Larry Bird:

Shooting over two defenders, very Kobesque of Bird.

Bird is LeBron. LeBron is Bird. Do not link Kobe or Jordan to their game. It's unscientific.

Make a shot like that, of course you have to say you meant to do it.

Imagine if a player worked on that shot for years, who is to say they couldn't hit it with consistency? What a way to throw off the defense. Obviously this wasn't intentional, but it would have been cool if it was. I mean, this happened (And was clearly practiced)
