Arenas has a severe abdominal sprain, and has been placed on the injured list. He suffered it in the 88-85 loss in Seattle.

Good player.
Only problem I have with him were his comments made after he had a breakout season and left Golden State. Something to the effect that he's all-star material now and he's gonna make all those other teams pay for not drafting him. I think he mentioned it quite a few times. Bitter guy. :lol:

I didn't want to start a new thread cuz this one automatically relates to the wizards i think, wtf is going with kwame brown? I know the wizards are "scared" to shatter his confidence, but this is going nowhere, somebody just gotta put this guy on his place and tell him he just plain sux right now and need to get his act together, or put him on the bench and start ethan thomas, cuz brown aint doing jack for the team, and they need him to be a good player to crack the 8th seed.

How about sittin' Brendan Haywood down for awhile? This guy has made ten starts and averages 3.9 ppg and ends up playing only 15 minutes or play him like a real player, they have too many people playing center/power forward. (Thomas, Haywood, Laettner, Kwame)

They should decide who is the odd man out, Laettner is old and probably there is a market for him, put him with one of the 5 point guards on this team and land a small forward like what Jared Jefferies is supposed to be.

How about giving the ball to Kwame now and then, I have watched the Wizards some and it's all about Arenas and Hughes getting touches and shots.

I believe they use Etan Thomas as an energizer off the bench, someone who cleans up the second units shots, someone to go down low to when Laettner is either on the bench or showing the Duke jumper.

I always have some opinion sorry about this, but Washington has too many young players and too many playing the same positions, with no quickness at the forward, no agility up front.

No you are absolutely right, i agree, also on the trading thing with laetner and a pg, but arenas and hughes need to get touches to be effective, and they most of the time are. But now arenas is out and kwame has the chance and he still doesnt produce(im not saying i could produce better numbers or something, but i dont like to cut him some slack anymore cuz they have been doing this to much imo), he just needs to get his act together, or if that aint the problem, just demand the ball, i dont understand why last season he seemed to explode(didnt he average a double double like 18pts and 10 rebs or something in about ten games?), and now he maybe has one good game outta ten(if it aint less), dont understand me wrong, i have nothing against kwame, i'd love it if he became a star cuz for some reason i like the washington team, but he just gotta deliver, and with eddie j as a coach it seems like an excellent time to me.

people what the hell s wrong with you? what do u expect form a guy whos 3rd option in offence? maybe not even that? its his 3rd year which for most players is their rookie out of collage, so come on, every year the Wiz bing in a scorer or 2 and u expecy Brown to be J.O'neal?

what? tyson is the second option for the bulls and all he does is rebound most of the time. with Wiz they consistently changing scorers its Stack Gilbert Hues and Brown or same with out stack? how do u expect him to be productive, just look at what happend to penny? his now 3rd option on the team and whats wors for Wiz all their scorers are shoting low % which means they want the abll more to score!

Stackhouse is recovering from an injury.

Arenas: 20.8 PPG
Hughes: 17.3 PPG

That's a 40 point contribution each game. Arenas and Hughes probably one of the best backcourts in the league.

I'm disappointed with Kwame too. He was supposed to be considered a monster forward this year but he hasn't been living up to expectations. Whenever he gets the ball, he does somehing stupid with it. He misses easy layups (that even I could make) and turns it over when he dribbles.

I am not defending anyone on Washington, especially not Kwame Brown, I have not done so before and have no plans to do so, but shooting .416 from the floor is nothing to brag about as far as how well you make shots, that's all I said, but everyone now days shoot such percenatages, I wouldn't say Paul Pierce takes all the best shots or makes the best decisions when it comes to taking shots, I also wouldn't say he's a great shooter compared to others. He is a better slasher and driver and should leave the deeper shots alone.

A guy who can make baskets is Peja Stojakovic.

Gilbert Arenas is the best player on Washington, but that ain't really saying much, but he seems to be a little worried abut Gilbert Arenas more than anything else. Kwame Brown is still very young and no one can expect him to great yet, Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler have a ways to go as well.

wrong. eddy curry is the bulls first option even though rose is firing away. that's 2 right there. then crawford, marshall, gill, and then fizer to some degree when he's in there. heck, i don't even think he's own's an option on the team. most of his shots come off pick and rolls and garbage opportunities. only until recently, the bulls consistently set up plays for him in the post.

well actualy come to think about it bulls dont really have a scoring order now, their coaching is changed and now they are getting benched for shooting too much or complaining or what ever wles they are doing,
and YOUR WRONG its actualy Crawford, Curry,Rose, Tyson, Gill.

and with Brown, him and all their players are all thinking stats rather then wins, they are yet to prove anything, while gilbert is so buzzy proving to all the teams they have made a mistake and Hues is proving he can play it take away from all theur other players, Brown now is trying too hard to make sure pple dont give up on him but that just comes with time, pple are pointing fingers at thim because all their "scorers" ar scoring big but they are still losing and here the num1 pick is doing jack shit, no one is saying much about Darko and thats only coz their him team is winning.

This is something i noticed while watching several LAL games and DAL, LAL has a much better team becasue all 4 guyz have prooven everything, Shaq and Kobe have 3 rings, Karl and Payton are future Hall of Famers they dont care about stats or contracs or eeping their own team, its very diff to what Dal and Wolfs have when all the stars want to come to a fully functional team and still get their 20 ppg!

washington......yeah we know that washington has the shooting (not necessarily good) from there guards, but from what ive seen they have no productivity from down low and that includes brown, one person i have been impresses with is etan thomas....

yeah poeple always talk about potential, but u cant bredict potential and the fact is brown is young but he isnt producing, would you rather be winniong now or in 5 years time....does it make any difference?????
