Um... Al Harrington is a lock as a starter, and Jackson isn't a forward.

MVP: LeBron James
Defensive Player: Gerald Wallace
Rookie: Randy Foye
Most Improved: J.R. Smith or David Harrison
6th Man: Shane Battier or Bonzi Wells (whichever doesn't start)
Coach: Jerry Sloan

Big homerism or haven't I payed enough attention to him? In my eyes he's always been ...big. And not much more.

Then you've probably never really seen him play. Harrison would already be a starting big getting around 13/6 if he could stay out of foul trouble. He's got an excellent mix of power and finnesse in the lowpost and he's an EXCELLENT shot blocker. He is actually a better shot blocker then Jermaine O'Neal believe it or not. He's improved his rebounding and attitude, and will have a breakout year this season if he can consistently stay on the floor.

I remember one game last season where he fell down straight on to his back from quite high, didn't get up for agaes then on the next play had one of the highest flying dunks Ive ever seen for a guy his size. He's tough, big and fast from the games I saw him in.

It is almost impossible that Nash wins the MVP again. The only possible way is if the suns end up first in regular season.

Just as an aside, are #1 & #2 draft picks really candidates for MIP? I thought the entire point of the award was to exceed expectations, not live up to them.

well just seeing that it's an award for improving, he hasn't done much in his career and I think it'll be his breakout season this year.
