They should of gave it to Steve Nash, because he makes Ben Wallace, Ron Artest, Bruce Bowen, Raja Bell, and Quinton Ross all great at defence.

I would've wanted Gerald Wallace or Camby to win it, but they were injured for a good chunk of the season...

As much as I love Trenton Hassell, his defense hasn't been the same since they added the hand-checking rule. He is still one of the best perimeter defenders in the league but I don't think he is DPOY worthy.

If Gerald Wallace and Andrei Kirilenko hadn't missed as much time as they did, they would have made stronger bids. Ben Wallace is a safe pick, he remains a great defender and a beast on the boards but his numbers aren't quite as impressive as his previous DPOY seasons.

This was Bruce's year without a doubt. Oh well, give it again to the guy who isn't even able to guard the best centers and forwards in the league, again.

Cant argue too much since other guys were injured. I wouldnt mind much if Marion won it either. Ben is an ok pick but as someone pointed out earler his numbers are down and arent as spectacular as one would expect. Congrats to him though.

Congrats to the Beast of The East, Big Ben Wallace. Def. deserves the award, wish Camby got it but he won the Health Insurance award for being injured so much in his career.
