i guess this is what 1 season of coaching the knicks makes happen

Fri Apr 14, 2006 2:50 pm

Lol, I don't there's anything wrong with him, propably just typical LB drama.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 2:50 pm

Or, is it the Viagra?

Fri Apr 14, 2006 2:50 pm

its fake. he just didnt want to be seen with them any more.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 2:52 pm

neither would i if i had to coach the knicks

Fri Apr 14, 2006 2:54 pm

so the knicks finally killed the fucker.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 3:01 pm

All jokes aside, with all these health concerns perhaps it's time Brown considered leaving the sidelines.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 3:01 pm

Man, I feel sorry for the dude. Stupid Marbury's making him stress too much (N)

Fri Apr 14, 2006 3:43 pm

Marbury hasnt even been playing.

He's just trying to get out of his contract.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 4:10 pm

^^ Well... the Knicks have a lot of work to do this offseason...

don't blame marbury, Brown is just unreliable.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 5:37 pm

Yeah well I guess he did have problems in the past. Maybe hes starting to get old at 65...

Fri Apr 14, 2006 7:01 pm

I never really liked the guy...

The only way he could've tamed the headcases/egomaniacs in the Knicks team would be to let them play however they want, and the team would be just as garbage that way.

Brown might be playing the pity card again like he did with Detroit when his contract was bought out.

"Play my way or I might die."

Sat Apr 15, 2006 1:36 pm

Yeah lets kick someone while they're down. Imagine if Darko had a heart attack.. oh thats a good thought.

anyhow, larry brown will turn this around once he gets a say in who is traded for who. remember in philly, his first season was pretty bad (they ended up with the 2nd pick in the draft and traded down) and made the playoffs the following year, and each season since then until brown left.

Matt, let's wait and see if Brown returns first. Yeah, I know he said he's coming back, but history has shown you can't take LB at his word.

Sun Apr 16, 2006 3:13 pm

I think it's just a bad case of losing. How many years has it been since he had a losing team?

Sun Apr 16, 2006 3:28 pm

probably his philly days

Sun Apr 16, 2006 4:32 pm

TBD, who's schooling the Celtics, there? Probably the best play of the Knicks season...

Sun Apr 16, 2006 4:54 pm

Qyntel Woods.

I'm sure larry brown probably has cancer, or some illness directly related to smoking. He has a smoker's voice so i'm sure he smokes all the time and he's at that age where a longtime smoker gets hit. I wouldnt be suprised if he retired at the end of the season.

You should become a detective.

He was originally on the Celtics, but they released him in after summer league because they thought he was shit...man he has ups though.
