FUCK YES!!
i hope this goes through although it'll probably be more than likely that the blazers will go elsewhere.
i think the fanbase here has improved drastically compared to years past.
anyways, i'm really looking forward to this.

the team name in itself would be pretty hilarious and ironic, considering Vancouver, or British Columbia in general is notorious for their marijuana -- and the Jail Blazers have had their share of problems with the happy leaf.

it's a matchmade in heaven.

Yeah I heard something about that during commentaries of a game a few days I believe. That would indeed be awesome. Even though I live about 8, 9 hours away from Vancouver, I'd go just to see a NBA game.

Well ofcourse you are saying it's not going to happen because 1. You are Blazers fan and 2. You live in Portland so you want them to stay in Portland so you can watch the games. Don't be bias.

I'd love to see another franchise in Canada. As long as they have nice jerseys unlike the Vancouver Grizzlies.

People of Vancouver like hockey A LOT more than basketball back then, but I think the fan base has improve in the last couple of years. If a franchise does come back to Vancouver, then the team needs jsut ONE star (superstar) to attract fans.

Guess I was the only one who liked those jerseys...at least more than I like the current trend of plain jerseys that all start to look the same after a while, especially when the colour schemes differ only slightly.

I wonder if Paul Allen ever regrets leaving his former business partner, with all these financial losses.

If there will be an NBA team in Vancouver, then A LOT pot smoking players (yes, even Birdman) will want to come there.

i'm guessing that is sarcasm.

but i posed that question in response to bang's comment to illustrate that city's generally get a second chance.

new orleans jazz -> utah jazz -> new orleans hornets
charlotte hornets -> new orleans hornets -> charlotte bobcats

This is a shame for Portland  At least they'll hopefully still have Zach Randolph 8-) 8-)

I wouldn't mind bandwagoning a Canadian team

Vancouver would be the last place I'd put an NBA team... why are they going back over old ground, it's irritating. I mean there was a reason the Grizzlies left Vancouver to begin with. Like Axel said, there's other markets for them to use. They'd have to make more sense then Vancouver.
