He already past his season high and has 10 points. The RAptors need to sign him to a max contract in the off-season ASAP.

Lol @ the Raptors not needing another big man. Yeah, you're right. We have hall of fame centres like Rafael Araujo and Loren Woods anyway, so there is no need.

Sean Marks stills deserves the max.

all I'm asking for is a playoff roster spot....u can't deny this line:

25mins, 16pts on 8/9 shooting, 5rebs, 2asts, 1blk, 0TO's

where are all the people who said that Sean Marks was the worst player in the NBA  he's already destroyed Darko's season with this one game

Sean seems to be getting some minutes these days (between 15-25 per) & it's showing....I just hope he suits up for us at Worlds so we have a chance :P

Nice stats posted by Sean Marks, largely thanks for Duncan for not playing because of the flu. Marks still got game!

Hopefully Sean Marks plays for New Zealand for the commonwealth games (probably not cos its in MArch)

But if he does, I can watch him play down in the greatest town in the world, Geelong :headbang:

I didn't know he could shoot that well. I knew he had a mid-range game, but I never thought of him as an above average shooter like he looked tonight.

Good stuff by Marks.

YEAH Marks!!!

Ive been waiting for him to have the opportunity to break his career high for the last 2 years, just a good shooting night with minutes and look!! :P

He's been getting some nice minutes in the last few games due to Horry's ab strain and now with Oberto out i figured he would have a shot. Duncan being out today also helped, but im so happy for Sean he's had to sit on that bench for a long time and now he's seems to be finding a little bit of rhythm.

The X wrote:all I'm asking for is a playoff roster spot....

Agreed!!! He shoulda made last years in place of Massenburg, i was so shattered :(

He apparently was gonna go to europe or summin this season but the spurs resigned him, so stoked they did...as i bet he is.

Didnt he retire from internationals? Just before the Oceania series? Oh well i hope he plays at the worlds too :) I cant wait

always good when he linked up with the Pero's, Penney's, Mark Dickel's & Phil Jones' of the world

Andrew wrote:To think we claimed Russell Crowe when we could have claimed Sean Marks. :shake:

you can have Russell, we don't want him

nah, he won't be in Commonwealth Games, due to it being in March & the fact that he retired from international competition last summer (probably to spend time with his family) but hopefully Tall Blacks' coach Tab Baldwin can convince him otherwise for the Worlds :P

we're definitely a medals chance at Commonwealth Games, but we really need our European based players like Kirk Penney & Phil Jones playing to be a chance to even come close to youg guys....

yep, Marks has always been a good midrange shooter out to 18-20 feet....he's showed it the last 6 years of international competition....although you probably wouldn't have seen it in NBA as he only got garbage minutes & never got a chance....

yep, he's retired from internationals, Tab hopes to get him back for the Worlds....

situation & injuries have allowed him to play decent minutes in the last few weeks....I think the Spurs would be wise to ride Marks while he's playing well and rest guys like Duncan & Horry whenever they can, ease them down in preparation for the playoffs where they will matter....

as for bloody Massenburg, that decision still haunts me :shake:

That was an added bonus...well two posts isn't really a bonus. Actually I had no one else since Parker was injured. Anyway, the dynasty is dead anyway
