Shaq vs. Kobe, Round 4 Tonight!

Postby EGarrett on Tue Jan 17, 2006 11:23 am

Didn't see a topic for this yet, so I figure I'll start one.

I've watched two of the games, and in both of them Kobe came up short. I didn't see the second game from last year, but if the Lakers lost then Kobe has yet to beat Shaq's team.

Maybe he'll try to finally get his dunk tonight. Or maybe they don't care anymore. Will they touch knuckles? Or ignore each other? The saga never ends.

I think the buzz has died. I've certainly haven't heard anything about this game until today, whereas previous games were hyped in advance.

anyways, go Lakers!!!!!!!

Shaq went over to Kobe during the stretch time and shook hands, I think they called it a truce.

Yeah, they shook hands about 3 or 4 times. The crowd cheered it.

Shaq's 3-0 against Kobe so far, 4-0 if you count last year's All-Star game.

Shaq must really be nursing that sprained ankle...he looks pretty bad out there.

I'm still waiting for Luke "Quicksand" Walton to get in the game. Did you ever notice that he seems to be in slow motion on the court?

Holy crap. Shaq destroys Bynum with putback dunk. Bynum takes him back down the court and spins and throws down on Shaq. Forearms exchanged. Double technicals. Crazy game!

Shaq- what a fucking puss! That was truly a classless act. Bynum took his posterization like a man and came back and did the same to Shaq. Rather then returning the favor again, Shaq pussied out

This the classic schoolyard bully story- stand up to the fat bully and he'll show he's really the pussy

Good for Bynum.

Shaq should have been ejected

I think Bynum kinda instigated it with the little elbow but Shaq went for his head. Kinda surprised he got that riled up and kinda surprised also he didnt get ejected.

I can imagine getting dunked on THEN hit would probably piss anyone off. Hell, Yao Ming threw a guy on the ground for that crap...

Shaq wasn't a bully, he took a shot and gave a shot.

Maybe it is a sign that Shaq will play in the US team with Kobe......

This game is getting very depressing for me in the 3rd qt because of all these horrible calls. The only reason the Heat are in the game right now is because of the refs. Really irritating me right now as the game is becoming very stagnant.

I could understand it with nearly any other player, but Bynum's like a 17/18 year old rookie. Any classy veteran would've probably just laughed it off or something. Then again, this is Shaq we're talking about. He'll probably come out in the media and go on a rant about how much Bynum sucks.

lol how many times does Shaq show up opponents with that chicken walk or do that hot dog jog after a big dunk?

go figure Shaq's ego couldn't take it when someone more or less does the same thing to him

There's a difference between walking funny down the court and physically shoving another player.

The Laker fans at RealGM are declaring Bynum the second coming of Shaq after this 1 play. I think I prefer the few, less inebriated fans we have here.
