Sentimentally I'd have to agree, but judging from the team results the last couple of years, I'd have to say it's Nash. What really works in Steve's favor is that his playing style is a perfect fit for D'Antoni's coaching style in Phoenix, thus adding spectacularly to his numbers.
But as long as Phoenix plays fast-tempo ball and keeps on winning without Stoudemire, Nash is teh premier PG in my book.
Kidd makes the stops when necessary and doesn't over shoot the ball.

I look at it like this. Nash isn't any better than he was in his last season in Dallas. The system in PHX just suites him perfectly, but that's no knock against him, he's a great PG in his own right. I'm still inclined to go with Kidd who hurts you on both ends of the court. Nash gives out punishment and receives similar. Kidd makes the stops when necessary and doesn't over shoot the ball.
