You mean who will be the first to get 50 points in a season match?

I go with Flash.

Arenas. He basically can't stop shooting three's and getting to the hole. I don't know really, but I'm going with Arenas.

Arenas will get it quicker simply because he takes far more shots than Wade. Anyone can jack up shit 3's every other time down the court, it won't take very long for even a decent 3 pt shooter to reach 50.

Now if you were going to ask me who is the better player, I'd say it has to be Wade. He has far more aspects to his game that make it harder for him to be defended. His outside shot is coming along too.

And please, enough of the Arenas bandwagon shit. It's just annoying. We know he's good but to hear about it nearly everyday is overkill.

Drex...

I like both Wade and Arenas. I was jw who you guys think will get 50 pts first.

I would say Arenas too. Its hard for Wade because Williams plays the point. Shaq takes alot of shots. And theres alot of shooters. Shaq, Williams, Walker, Posey....Payton takes a decent amount.

Arenas. He shoots too much for a point guard.

Even if it's in front of two guys he jumps so high on fadeaways it doesn't matter. He's got so many resources, it's easy for him to take 35 shots. If I was his teammate, I wouldn't care."

Arenas because he's always looking for his shot and as said, Wade wouldn't need to score 50.

Much more important: who's team will rather win 50 games?
I think that's pretty obvious and it's way more important than scoring 50.
It might not be just because of Wade that they're gonna win 50+, but I think Arenas too would trade a 50 point game for a 50 win season anyday of the week.

The position they're both playing is called 'combo guard'. It's basically a shooting guard who also has a job of setting other players up. I mean, it's not everything so black&white in basketball. If you watched the Wizards last year, you wouldn't have noticed who is actually a primary ballhandler on that team. Sometimes it was Arenas, on other occasions it was Hughes.

Who runs the offense for the wiz? Arenas
Who runs the offense on any team? The PG

Yeah, call him a combo guard but he's the one running the offense, so he's the one tasked to set up everyone else. ALA Iverson when Kevin Ollie is on the bench.

Let me put this in lament terms for you:

He shoots too much for someone running the offense.

As for the wizards last season, yeah he had Hughes on the starting lineup. Now, who does he have coming off the bench Chucky Atkins?
Antonio "bring the ball down and attack the hoop STAT" Daniels?

Jeez.

Wade is definitely capable but I'm guessing Arenas will break 50 first. Both have come oh-so-close however, with Arenas' 47 point game against Miami this year and Wade's 48 point game against Philadelphia last season.

Read what VanK said. He said he alternates bringing the ball up the floor. In other words, half of the time he's a PG, and the other half of the time he's a SG. Get it?

No. Read my post. He has 2 guys incapable of running the offense. We all know about Antonio Daniels and wiz fans are slowly learning about the nightmare that is chucky atkins.

Jesus Christ.

Well, he's the best playmaker the Wizards have. And he's also the best scorer they have, so he has to do both things.
