And you got the first overall pick, who would you select? Obviously Age is factor, Leadership, and what type of game u want, halfcourt or a fullcourt game, meaning a player that could play both. My seletion/s would be

Dwyane Wade - Hes young athletic and also probally top 5 players in the league. Hes really quick, hes a good leader, could play both full and halfcourt, hes a good defender. Hes really tough hes "
Anti-Injury Prone" I guess u would say.

OTHERS

LeBron James- Hes athletic, young, top 10 probally even 5 Best players in the league. He could play the full or halfcourt game aswell.
Amare Stoudemire
Kobe Bryant (Although hes 26 but still really good)
Dwight Howard (But he needs a good PG for him to be a great player)

Who would you guys pick?

Based on your selections I'd pick Amare first. Then I'd go for Howard, James, Wade.

Steve Nash should be the PG you are talking about, bcause he can get both of your two bigmen (Amare S and Dwight H) scoring.

It is unlikely that you can get all of those players on a team because there wouldn't be enough cap space and its ust not possible to draft all thoe players onto one team in one draft. That kind of a team will never exist.

I don't think he meant he'd take them all, I think he meant he'd take them in that order.

LeBron James.. the guy is multidimensional. I'd pick Amare, but after that knee injury, I'm a little concerned.

I'd probably take LeBron or Kobe. Can't split the two. What Kobe has in leadership and experience LeBron has in youth and potential.

I'd be reluctant to pick Amare, not because of his knee injury but because I think he needs a certain type of player around him to play to the best of his ability. There's no guarantee he'd end up with another Steve Nash on this team.

Garnett, hes better overal, can shoot midrange, quicker, and can penatrate from the 3 and into the key better than duncan.

I'd pick the guys from 03 draft - LeBron, Melo, Bosh, Wade - their rookie contracts hasn't expired, and some veteran( a leader). Then get Boykins as your 6th man :)

I would take James!! It would guarentee a sell out every game plus attraction from free agents!! then i would trade james for a good big man like duncan, kg, amare because according the last 6 championships(excluding detroit), big man are way more important to win a championship

Lebron would sells tickets and win games. Oh, if not him, then Howard.

Dwight is good but what is up with this hype? What makes you guys think he will be a franchise player? Take Dwight over Amare?

Even though Dwight had barely gotten any touches, he still managed to average a double-double. Dwight isn't as proven as Amare, but if Dwight can get more touches and develop more of a jumper then I think he can put up Amare-esque numbers.

willingness to defend and rebound early in a career is better than a willingness to score. i think he has more upside as a post defender, with the tools to improve his offense. that said its still a tough choice, and it could go either way, the injury probably pushed me toward howard, that along with howards length and age.

Howad has the potential to become great, but so does Amare. Amare has proved himself where as Howard has been a solid player. Amare has gone head to head against Duncan and was arguably the better player.

i think shaun has more than plenty of money to eat... why doesn't he fatten up? does he have a genetic disorder or something that doesn't allow him to exceed 200lbs?

If I were starting a franchise today, I would start a franchise with Deron Williams and Drew Gooden. I think they would be an awesome combo. Chuck in a great defender at the 2 or 3, a rebounding/blocking Center and a good shooter, and i'll be right. Oh and i need a bench, so um, a veteran Passing point guard. A clutch shooter and another Rebounding/blocking type guy.
