Lebron

Lebron is absolutely cutting sick!!! He has 24 point with 3 mins to go in the first half! I think he might be making a statement.........

He ended up with 31. He didn't live up to his standards in the rebounds and assists department, though, but that 4 three pointers in 2 minutes was pretty cool (y)

Kobe is the best player in the NBA, followed by Garnett and Tmac. Lebron is right there though

Whatever, he still got 31 points and was jus about perfect in the 3 point range. As long as they win.

Maybe he should have gotten a college education if he thinks that.

Yeah, good one Riot. I agree, he should've attended the same college as KG, Kobe and T-Mac.

People claim that he worked on his outside shooting. A lot. And judging by the stats, that's kinda true. Imagine if he becomes a Tracy McGrady-like shooter. A guy with his psychical ability, inside game and triple threat skills would become unstoppable if that hapened.

Vank, its just one game though. Michael Redd has been the best player so far, does that mean he's the mvp? Lebron James has one good shooting night all of a sudden he's a consistant outside shooter? The potential is there for him to be there this season, but he could also fall in love with the outside shot and that could effect his scoring and %. Theres still alot of questions to be answered about Lebron this season.

I dont think we will see much more of that outside shooting like LeBron did today, and it turned out to be a pretty average game from him....

Thing that shocked me, is the 49 points off the Cavs bench!
49!!!
We struggled to get 10-15 last season.....I couldnt be any happier with the game today.

I believe Kobe is the best player too. I was just predicting LeBron's thoughts.

Do you even know who I was taking a shot at? I said if Lebron thinks he's the best player in the league then he should have gone to college. He isn't even top 5.

k you cant really judge anyone after one game, but i definately think lebron is top 5...... he was second last year in efficiency..... and was first overall in the nba fantasy draft thing this year, even ahead of garnett.... the only thing people said he had to work on last year was his 3 pt shooting and so far it looks like he has improved

I did enjoy the "on-fire" gesture, when he held his right hand over his left as if holidng it over a lighter, then blowing it out, and shaking it off. As far as cocky celebrations go, it's pretty creative. The whole dusting off the shoulders and jersey pulling's getting old. Now I'm just waiting for a chance for me to use that in a game.
The task of the artist is to translate for us the essence of things we take for granted.

If you want to play one-on-one...I'd go with Kobe...

If you want to win basketball games...I'd pick Lebron every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Kobe Bryant-3 NBA titles
Lebron James-0 playoff apperances

Funny how you want to win basketball games yet he has never even been to the post season (IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE!)

I hope you were just comparing Lebron and Kobe Bryant. Because if you want to win you'd take Shaquille O'Neal, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Allen Iverson and maybe even Jason Kidd over Lebron James.

Lebron is a great player but the hype around him is too much, IMHO. I think he's probably the 7th best player in the league right now.

hes only played 2 years, and without shaq on his team, so comparing his wins to kobes just isnt right

But why do people get the impression that Lebron is such a great winner? He hasn't made the post season and he's in the weakest conference.

How many titles has Shaq won without Kobe?

I think he has answered each and possible questions. He is definitely the most talented player on the court, no doubts about it. He isn't the best overall player at this moment but just give it time and you'll see. I know he couldn't take his team back to the playoff, but I will tell you what... how many players have been able to carry all the load on their shoulders and take them to the promised land? not too many! so as of last year, Lebron's been a looser and not a winner.
